I assume there must be high demand for Idle because Yuqi is very popular there. Nice to see these groups about to make a lot of money. I wonder if companies are scrambling to add China to their tours.
Some groups might have a new lease on life. I wonder if a group like Everglow can bounce back due to having a Chinese member who spent time in their entertainment industry

Qwer - They defied all odds in becoming a successful group. Most people thought they would be a gimmick and not amount to much but they've been a disruptor in the current kpop landscape. I am not sure how people they are internationally but they seem to be very popular in Korea
Dreamcatcher is amazing. They are one of my favorite groups. I think it helps that they have a strong international fan base, and seeing them get a win was one of my favorite kpop moments ever. Watching a win like that shows how much it means for groups from a smaller company when they win

I assume Hybe feels they're still under contract and they don't approve of it. They want them to pay a penalty fee, but the girls said they're out and rebranded.
Personally, I think they should let them go, even though none of their girl groups would reach the height of NJZ. I think there's no way the girls can come to an agreement with them. Dragging this on is only hurting Hybe's other girl groups. Hybe is creating a group every other year and a BTS comeback will recover their losses without NJZ.
I like Hybe's girl groups and NJZ. This whole situation is messy and they need to let go because it's only damaging their other groups
I think they’ll do the opposite to Lsfm but then that could mean another cute/innocent gg in 5th gen
If they try to do another early gfriend concept that will be another school girl concept
I think another option would be a rock/punk concept! Something similar to Gidle Queencard and Tomboy! Bratty/punk vibes which I think Lsfm do in parts of their songs but not fully fleshed out
I hope they aren't doing a cute/innocent gg concept because the market is over flooded. We already have Illit, Fifty Fifty2.0, the new starship and SM gg, and I am sure more to follow
A rock/punk concept would be cool and I am surprised only Dreamcatcher has attempted that. I guess there's a risk that kpop fans might not be that fond of that concept, but I want to see more groups dabble a bit into rock.
Something like Billlie's song Ring Ma Bell would be a killer concept

I liked her debut a lot, and I will buy this one too. I hope we have another song as good as anywhere but home. That song will forever be in my playlist.
She really should be so much more popular and well known than she is
It's the issue with being in a nugu or mid level group. You have a lot of members that get under-looked due to the group's popularity. There are plenty of idols in that tier that would thrive if they were in a popular or big 4 group. A lot of kpop is about luck and an idol can have the ingredients to be succesful, but it doesn't matter if they're in a group in this tier.
Some idols in this tier go viral, but it's very short-lived. It's why something like Kiss of Life is rare. They were nugu, went viral, and was able to maintain momentum.
It feels cruel to call an idol ugly. It might sound a bit shallow but a kpop company would not debut an idol if they're ugly. The issue here is most likely styling because that can correct a lot of things.
There's no reason to have that many groups under one company. Makes me think they think Illit is already declining so they have to rush a replacement group.
Not necessarily
I think Hybe's ultimate goal is to have a girl group to cover every area to undercut the competition. These groups are all planned in advance, so I don't think Illit being polarizing matters much. I think we'll only know if the 2 new groups have a similar concept to Illit. I assume Illit focus will be the Japanese market, but unsure which concept they will tackle with their new groups.
I think it's a mistake to have that many groups active at once and debut them in such a short time.I think the issue is Hybe doesn't care and they want to undercut the competition
