Blackpink if anything was under promoted compared to their peers what are you talking about? the only thing you can say is they debuted under the big 3 that only only helped initially. They later built their own fandom and they happen to have the appeal, music and star quality that people like. People just connect with them for whatever reason they are seen as cool and fashionable that attract fans of different demographcis.

Well, this is always a bit speculative since we can't falsify anything like this, but I think someone like Twice Momo could replace Lisa. Lisa doesn't rap well and can't sing well either, and I feel Momo is as good of a dancer if not better. I don't see anything that Lisa brings that Momo couldn't bring at least skillwise. Maybe you could say that Lisa brings the SEA crowd and Momo may not appeal as well to them, but I don't think not being from SEA is going to be devastating for Momo in Blackpink.

I think all charts are valid and all are metrics are important but we have to realize that melon charts aren't the same as they used to be during second or third generation.
Melon charts alone won't make it since Youtube music Korea is on the rise and has surpassed melon in streaming consumption. In my opinion it's important to count all charts especially the international ones like spotify etc considering that Kpop is more global now than in the past. Kpop nowadays can reach other audiences too.

honestly, you shouldn't judge a whole album just for one pre-release.... yes click clack lytrics are a bit corny ( it personally grew on me though) I do like their charisma so I don't mind it lol .
But the album is really good. I would say it's an upgrade from the previous album . I really think you really should listen to it. Even batter up remix is good. I have a feeling that only click clack and woke up in Tokyo might be the only songs you might dislike bc they are more hip hop ish.
