That was my point. How can you call someone the biggest when they can't outsell a 1st gen Idol who was never part of an overhyped group?
It doesn't matter if BP sold more albums than BB and 2NE1, it only happened because of those 2 groups and YG money.
You can cry all you want, but without YG money, BP is nothing.
But why are you even comparing a 1st gen idol to a 3rd gen idol's achievements especially when it comes to album sales?
This is just an example fyi. Has the biggest artist right now Taylor Swift surpassed someone super popular back then like Madonna who is from a different gen in album sales? No and they're not supposed to unless they release a ton of album every year.

I'm aware that Grammys is a US-based award show. APT debuted at the Top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100. Its charting in the Spotify and Apple Music US chart. Depending on how big the releases will be for the remaining of 2024 and the following year, APT could get a nom Pop Duo/Group.
I haven't heard of the alphabetical order theory. We'll find out next year.
US charting wise it's already below Die With A Smile (the gaga bruno collab) and other older songs even tho it's a recent song. Just have a feeling it will already be forgotten by the time grammy noms for 2026 starts since it's released so early. It also won't have the longevity in the US like these other songs since it sounds more in the moment kind of song? If the grammys took global achievements into consideration then I'd be way more optimistic lol

It has a chance of being nominated and even a win next year. Aside from APT being a huge hit, Bruno is a grammy darling.
Did you forget that Grammys are US based? It's not global impact that matters. Bruno is a grammy darling but I don't think it's guaranteed that he will maintain his nomination/winning streak. People were sure that his collab with Gaga would get them a ROTY nom too but it didn't. Some speculate it has to do with the alphabetical order theory. They did get Pop Duo and SOTY tho.
Also, he's apparently scheduled to release his own album next year which he will def focus on, I think APT will likely be forgotten by then. Pop Duo is likely their best chance but the alphabetical order thing hinders it since name wise Rose would be placed at the bottom of the list?
Sorry I just have doubts that a kpop solo act will get any noms at the Grammys even with a grammy darling like Bruno!
