The SME exodus to be continued? Sounds like this is a last-ditch attempt to pressure SME, but I feel like this is just another senior artist leaving the label. These guys can't retain artists that they already don't treat like royalty (Yoona), rely on them (Hyoyeon), or don't already have their discography locked up (Taeyeon). Unless Wendy and Yeri match the above categories, I wouldn't be surprised to see them walk too. Hasn't it already been reported that Wendy is also displeased with SME? I think even Wendy herself said so?

Google can see everything you do online (even in "private" mode). Airport body scanners can see everything in your body. Police have devices that can see through walls and if they wanted could record all you do in private. Every electronic communication is monitored. AI algorithms already know a lot about your personality and tastes, that's what the modern internet is built on. So you are already living in the dystopian techno world. We could actually use this technology for good rather than make corporations richer, and it only involved spotting hateful thought patterns, and the entire world agrees that racism is bad, unless you think otherwise?
All of the things that you've mentioned are things that you have done or are doing:
- Google can see what you're doing on private mode (if you use Chrome or Google search, which you shouldn't if you care about privacy or results that aren't totally cooked by SEO)
- Metal detectors detect things that you already have on you
- Not every electronic communication is monitored (if you know what you're doing)
What you're recommending is using AI to police though crimes (racism isn't even a crime in many countries anyway, and what constitutes racism varies). Specifically, it's profiling. We don't need AI to profile. We can already profile, and it's already looked down on as something we shouldn't do (in America anyway) in regards to the state towards its populace (and in many cases institutions to the populace).
This is one of those things that sounds great if its in the hands of people that you agree with. The second this gets into the hands of someone you don't agree with, you'll realize that it was a bad idea the entire time.

I've read the Bible in random order before, but I personally like to read it front to back, beginning with Genesis. The books were placed in a specific order for a reason.

It really depends on how AI is influencing these reports. As the person above said, are officers just throwing these up as templates and editing them, or is the AI putting in details or leaving some things out? There are lots of encounters that officers need to write down. However, this is one of those areas where you really want to look into what the AI us actually doing. I would be inclined to say they should manually write down everything and rely on AI for nothing until the program is fully vetted. And even then they need to manually review things.

I was talking about charting, and massive sale numbers etc. To be fair, Hwasa never had big album sales, and since she's not doing much Variety content she can't chart like she used to, that's all I'm saying.
Her career isn't over, it's not just not easy to remain mainstream for more than 5 years in Kpop.
I don't think "NA" isn't a gp friendly song, I mean, "TWIT" or "MARIA" wasn't much different, both had meaningful lyrics, especially "MARIA", it was a message to the whole industry and haters, just like in "NA".
She has the gp for sure, but if an Idol doesn't do much Variety, they won't know anything about them. The public don't read articles, watch Music Shows, they watch TV, and that's all, basically. Only young people watch Music Shows.
She said, she's gonna promote her album for 2 weeks, and she's gonna appear on many Variety shows.
Honestly, if Hwasa and PSY want her to be more mainstream again, they have to send her to the biggest Variety shows, but she doesn't want that. She said, she doesn't care about charts and sales anymore. She also said, she doesn't want to be on many Varieties, because it's stressful. So far, she only appeared on shows run by her friends, like Kian84's YT show. He was the member of "I live alone" as well.
I mean, that's totally fair if she doesn't want to chase general public approval, but I don't think it's mutually exclusive to release music for yourself and release music that can appeal to the public. That seems to be a skill that most successful artists can do in some capacity.

They were always going to get attention considering how big the case is. This is exactly why they kept the Fifty Fifty name. That was the easy part.
Now they need to actually follow it up with songs that Korea, Japan, SEA, or the west (preferably multiple) likes and find a dedicated fanbase. That's the real hard part.

She has many fans whom are not MMM fans, but most of her fans are Moomoos, and Mamamoo never cared about trends or public-friendly songs and image. I mean, their debut song: "Mr. Ambiguous" is THE prime example, because no Kpop group debuted with a Jazz song before them or after them. Not to mention their diss tracks about the whole Kpop industry (HIP), and the cutesy style: (Um Oh Ah Yeh), it was also about the generalization of women, like many of their songs. Mamamoo as a group and as soloists built their entire career based on being "DGAF Queens".
Back in the early years, it was all Moomoo, I mean they had like 100 fans in Korea, they performed their debut song at Mnet for 3 people, all of which was a family member or friend of theirs. Since the "Immortal Songs 2" performances, the general public became their massive fans for years, that's why they were so strong between 2016-2020. Now, it's all Moomoos, again. I'd say, 90% and 10% gp. That's how it works for older groups.
As for Hwasa, in Korea she's one of the biggest female Kpop Idol thanks to her realness. The public loves her, even tho she's not as active on Variety Shows anymore.
I think, it's safe to say she passed her prime, mostly because Koreans already know who she is, and only young kids (or people who don't know her) think what she's doing is not okay. For everyone else, it's just another day at the office.😂
After 5 years as a soloist, she doesn't need to care about the gp, most Kpop listeners are young anyway, and most of her (and MMM) fans are older than 25 or 30. That's why she's not following the trends.
I mean, saying someone is past their prime is a bit much if their venture into solo work is only 5 years at this point lol She has a lengthy career ahead of her making music if she plays her cards right
I just think she should splash a gp friendly title track in there. Once you have them, then no one is going to doubt you when you go on your experimental bend.

So many people tend to forget if an artist release something for the people, they already lost. If you release (in this case) a song for yourself, most people will like it, and even if they don't, the most important thing is that you love it. If you're making songs or anything for someone else, there's no reason to do this job. It's just a short-term popularity anyway.
I mean, people think, for example, Idols can do this for decades. Hwasa is 30 now, she can't release songs for the charts or the trends, because trends always changing, on a daily basis, you can follow trends when you're teen, or you're in your 20s, but the minute you hit 30, it's just lame. But real art won't be lame, ever.
Most of her Title Tracks probably won't remain mainstream after decades, maybe MARIA, but her B-Sides like: "LMM", "Just Talking to Myself", "ROAD", "O", etc will.
I think the most common way go is release public-friendly songs, stabilize your base, and then release whatever you want after you build a strong base. Like, what ratio of Hwasa's base are Hwasa fans as opposed to Mamamoo fans following? How much is it general public? I think someone, maybe you, talked about soloists vs solo sub-units, and I feel like Hwasa is still in the sub-unit soloist stage as opposed to being just a soloist, so I think proper general public appeal is still important as she transitions in being a soloist that releases whatever she wants.

Attrakt definitely won the PR battle in SK, and it's also won internationally considering international fans are split on the boycott. The latter is really crazy since the three former members are claiming abuse, which usually rallies international fans towards their side.

Hwasa definitely doesn't have a sound that is trendy from what I hear listening to other releases. Even for me, it's very hit or miss, before her latest release, I was really only rating "Twit." I can see why Knetz don't like it. Look at what's popular even among soloists. "NA" is in stark contrast to it. As long as she has her dedicated fans, then she should be fine though.

I like the original version more. The English sounds too cheesy. Well, it's Pokemon. I would guess the Korean version sounds cheesy too, but I don't understand it. Still a bop.

Flop. However, the MV itself is a bit nice.

I'm voting blop. There is something missing in the chorus. I'm not sure what. I don't think it's Aran's or Sio's vocals since their best song "Lovin' Me" doesn't feature their vocals in the chorus. It almost feels too safe. They don't need to go for a homerun, but a triple or a double isn't too much to ask for.

Neither is good, but "Magnetic" is quite bad, and it encapsulates a lot of why higher-end girl group (don't listen to so much boy group) music in the last few years is so bad. I can at least give props to "Supernova" for some its aspects. I have nothing positive to say about "Magnetic" beyond its commercial success.

I think I might be an official K-unc now. I don't understand the English some of the K-pop singers are saying
"Push Your Love" is okay, but I keep hearing "...so silly, I want your willy..."
"Starry Night" is better in English. The Korean version has slip into BLOP for me, but the English version can replace it in the high BLOP, low BOP realm.
"SOS" is like on the precipice of being great, both versions. I feel like the chorus needed something extra, but I can't describe it.
"Gravity" is a BOP. It was kind of nice the hole way through, but I loved the ending. When the last 30 seconds or so came on
I've playlisted both versions of "Starry Night," both versions of "SOS," and "Gravity." "Push Your Love" doesn't impress.

I don't mind them. I really don't mind AI art and music. I'll dig some up since I haven't watched in a while though.
