I don't think anyone other than BTS can sell out a stadium in the US unless someone does only 1 stadium show in like year or so for the namesake of "we sold out a stadium in the US". I think so mainly because even very popular western artists are not booking stadiums here in the US. Not even Justin Bieber. It is not affordable to rent out a stadium only for 1 show or doing multiple shows and not selling out. Only Taylor, Adele and legacy acts will sell out multiple stadium shows hence probably they will rent a stadium.
Even legacy acts have turned to smaller venues like in Vegas. Because it’s easier to sell multiple dates of a 5k seater concert hall than one big stadium.

kpop is one of the few genres (only one?) where physical sales are increasing
probably because many kpop companies put out giveaways for fans who buy physicals. Like a hidden fanmeet ticket so best chance of you to get it is by buying in bulk. Or maybe because some fanmeets require you to buy a certain amount of physicals or have a poster that came with a physical….

alot of kpop acts do big arenas/stadiums in Asia, but very limited dates. like maybe one big show in japan/china or one big show in one southeast asian country.
but in america? goodluck to them.
