I do feel that bigger groups always take more time to grow. They are doing fine currently especially they are not completely inactive with their YouTube cariety shit right. They do need to comeback soon though

I guess? But black pink does not need to try to target SEA at all. Unlike Korea and Japanese fans, I don’t think SEA fans ever claim that they feel neglected etc. Which thus requires a targetted approach to alter the music etc. SEA fans have long been eating up black pink and will continue to eat them up regardless of attention allocated towards them IMO. So it doesn’t make sense to do so

When it reaches that 7 year mark , I think it’s highly likely they will leave altogether though since each of their individuals Brand’s is rather strong and will only get stronger that they longer need to remain in a group together anymore. Plus as long as one leaves yg, the group will probably go on long long long hiatuses, effectively disbanding

I lowkey hope that sm will start doing pre releases for aespa so the pre release does not involve the smcu storyline at all. Where they can explore other concepts. Unlikely to happen though

Jk. Instead let’s talk about aespa styling and contrast that with the other rookie girl groups that debuted from 2020 to 2021.

Aespa stage outfits is very distinctively trying to go for the otherworldly, futuristic vibes. With heavy use of glitter and reflective iridescent flakes ( well at least most iconically and for most of the teaser shots) which is hence have associated with them .

This however goes I the opposite direction of most other girl groups that have a lot of checkered namely itzy, purple kiss, and our high teen queens Stayc.

Do you think that aespa current styling might hindered their future concepts that they can take up. And whether it will potentially age badly.
