Yamas always been quite consistent in saying he likes LSF and most of their music and doesnt think they should be the brunt of hatred from people.
I think he is frustrated by them being pawns in the whole bullshit though.

I failed stats analysis thrice ---
This thread be like:
Needs more math formulas tbh
It would make that HardocreBlink predictions guy who swore they were going to Teddy KIND of right in a way
Or in the vincinity
Oh wow. Stunning
Did you just bump your own year and a half old thread?
Like I'm a bit of a hedonist.
In that I would rather have a go at experiencing something I never have before, even if it has a bad result, just so I can say I did.
A bad story to tell is still a story to tell. A tale of "that time I went on a date with Tsuki from Billlie and spilt soup on her" is still a tale (and I don't even register Billie, just pulling a name out of nowhere).
Rather than a "what could have been"
What about Ive then?
I find the IVE one more interesting tbh
Where are they?
Even in the MAMA voting, right until the end, they were in 11th place, behind ITZY.
Somehow, they still got the award and ITZY didn't.
But how is a group that ranked so highly last year getting beat by two "controversial" groups?
I mean, like, I think I speak for everone here when I say
HOLY ODIN!!
God those cakes look good. And surprisingly affordable!
This is the third time round for a group under a HYBE label to have something inappropriate with a GG release that has minors (Cookie and Fearless choreo)
Sounds like they need an independent person in the company to review any releases involving minors and open palm slap whoever is responsible for inappropriate stuff. Or at least veto it.
i mean, it just sounds like something a western GG would release. It’s inappropriate for kpop standards, but just regular sexually suggestive western music.
I think it ruins their image a bit in kpop, but maybe HYBE is aiming for western success.
The issue isn't the Kpop/Western pop gulf...
It's taht there are minors singing these lyrics and the target audience for Illit is very minor oriented.
It's the same issue with Cookie, minors are involved.
Some pearl clutchers had issues with Sticky, but by and large most people are ok with Sticky, because Kiss of Life are grown ass adults, not 16 year old girls singing double entendres.
I am using this song as my phone ringtone
Wow, thats riveting, thanks bot
So we circle back to asking if ONLY Korean groups can be nominated for best K-pop?
Can XG be nominated? Could a hypothetical all Filipino K-pop group that has the trappings, the sounds and the promotional style of K-pop be considered? Why is it fair to only ringfence one nation if they are going for awards on international stage?
Or, again...
Is it fairer to have a more catch-all "International Artist" (like the Oscars do for film). Can kpop stand then against the LatAm giants? Or maybe an "Asian Artist" award that would also encompass Jpop, Cpop and other Asian nations?
British artists obtain mainstream popularity in America because they speak the same language. Kpop artists do not.
And for the ever growing number of kpop releases that are in English?
k-pop is a special genre, not just a music. There is nothing wrong to make a separate category for it
Which then starts bringing the whole "what is kpop" thing back. Is it entirely fair and ok to make an awards category for one countries music, or is it a genre that will allow say an Indonesian "Kpop Group" to be entered?
