They keep saying blackpink no.1 gg in korea and all that but the numbers are not that great. Kill this love was a disappointment on korean charts. And so was ice cream. How you like that and Lovesick girls were hits and that's it. They were no national hits. Aespa next level and Gidle Tomboy did better. This is 4th gen ggs beating "no.1 in gg in korea" best song digitals. They were trendy in 2020 the same as aespa were trendy in 2021 and gidle in 2022. The real top gg was Twice and now with them declining, that spot is still empty. This is now transition period. Ggs like blackpink, aespa,gidle etc. are fighting for the crown. Tbh, blackpink fumbled their bags by not releasing anything last year. The mood around next bp's comeback is not of full support from their own fandom because of the solos or the kpop community for forgetting they are music artists.
I was watching time to twice their reality show yesterday and they are so comfortable with each other. Nothing felt wrong at all. Those jyp team building exercises for twice really going to keep them together longer than expected.
