Initially, when watching the MV and listening to the song at the same time, I didn't like how choppy some parts were. At first, it sounded like completely different songs mixed into one and while watching the MV at the same time, it felt a bit chaotic. It felt like a disappointing drop from the verse to the chorus and didn't match the build up.
However, I then listened to the song without the MV, and actually, I really enjoyed it. It flows much better and I appreciate the different sounds and backing music when not being distracted by the MV (which is stunning in itself). The chorus doesn't sound so empty, and even the ending 'ratata' part sounds good to me because of the beat and I can imagine myself dancing to it. I think when you're focusing on the MV, you might be expecting a different sound or music and perhaps the music that's playing doesn't match what's going on in the MV so you're left feeling underwhelmed. However, when focusing solely on the song with no visual distractions, I did enjoy it.
So to conclude, if you've only listened to the song with the MV at the same time, try just solely listening to the song without the MV, your opinion might change like mine. I can't stop listening to it now
I don't know if anything I've just said makes any sense.
