I never said achievements are all that mattered. It’s good that groups can sell well and are making money off of it. But the groups must feel some kind of way when they look at the charts and don’t see their songs there or have practiced hard for a comeback and can’t get a win because they don’t chart well. Charting is just as important as selling albums.
i'm sure they're disappointed, but to say it's embarrassing is a whole different matter.

feel like they're cooking another single. Maybe Tae and Kook's mixtapes soon, also? Fingers crossed!

I don't believe, but I'd honestly be less surprised by the existence of ghosts than that of God.

I think streams need to bring you to the top not just mercy and album buying ?? I’m not sure
But for example - stray kids online fan meets, include like 30 people right, those 30 people bought around 20-50 albums in order to get in the fan meet
Including those who didn’t make it
They sold thousands just from probably a few hundred fans. but these are not equivalent to thousands of people streaming their music
So I’m assuming that’s why?? I’m not sure tho idk much about kpop and streaming and stuff I just assume that matters more
while bulk buying happens, the math is a bit flawed. Sure many fans buy more than 1 copy, but there's also plenty, PLENTY of people who don't buy albums at all. It's safe to assume at the end of the day that a groups has a larger following than their actual sales might indicate. You cannot equal number of fans to number of albums sold in that way.
Yes it’s embarrassing if you’re not charting in your home country.
It's a job they manage to make a living out of, and at the same time keep others employed. The fact that you think achievements are all that matter is ridiculous. Like saying to a normal person that their job is embarrassing because they're not a manager yet.

Best rapline, period. Amazing artists each of them individually, also. wowowow

ok thanks for reply, I was interested does Weverse really help groups to promote themselves and to attract new fans, but I think most people will just check them a bit and then just leave without even remembering group name etc.
some people will sure be interested, ofc, my own personal example is hardly the norm. I just don't have the time and the desire to devote full attention to other groups, but plenty people are more open minded.

Nope, i'm there for BTS only. I was casually listening to Dreamcatcher and Sunmi before them joining weverse, and I'm still on the level of just listening to the music and not a lot of in depth interest in the artists themselves yet.

he was born to be an artist, that's for sure.
Then I remember what Tae said, that Jungkook starts in everything from an above average level, and you realize JK's potential is limitless. There's little he wouldn't be able to do, if he set his mind and willpower to it.

there's advantages and disadvantages. While some regulations should be put into place, it wouldn't be fair that idols don't get to debut until older, while you have child actors working since they're in diapers.
They should, however, be some rules such as fewer working hours, ensuring they get proper sleep and some real education etc. It's baffling in a way that if an underaged person wants a job, they have all these serious restrictions, but they don't apply if that job is in entertainment.
