I enjoy some idols who aren't the best live singers, but an idol who has strong vocals along with the rest of the idol package will always be my preference.

We're pretty similar in numbers actually. My all time top scrobbled group is MX

Baekyun is my highest soloist

Why is d-day this low?! It's in my top 3! I need to fix this!
Lol, no that pretty much tracks. Today's the 5th day since it's been out so that's about 10 times a day (if we round down lol). You're safe!

And this is why radio counting, especially that heavily, is ridiculous.
It doesn't give artists any financial support.
Even free streams gives them a little.
To clarify, in the US, the performing artist doesn't get royalties from radio but the writers/composers of the song do get paid royalties for every spin.

And who defines what ''normal'' is?
There are people that like to have 1000+ songs in their playlist. There are people that like to have small playlist.
Long before I become a ''stan'', when I didn't care about the artist revenue I was still looping songs, a lot more than 20 songs per day. It's just my way of listening - if I find a song I like I can have it on on repeat for like a month and I don't get bored of it. I have small playlist with songs that stay there for years.
Why my way of listening should be discriminated? I am a valid customer and my streams are valid too.
By normal, I just mean the statistical norm for listener behavior. If you're listening to the same song a lot more than 20 times a day, you're an outlier and most systems are not built for outliers. I'm an outlier too, btw. I obsessively listen to the same songs over and over as well. However, most people with our stats are not doing it naturally for enjoyment. They're doing it to artificially inflate their fave's streaming numbers and because of them, you and I get filtered. The chart wants to reflect the broader market not us and not artificial streaming. On the bright side, there's no way to catch all the fake streaming, so that probably balances out the loss of our numbers.
But if you really want all of your repeats to count, you could follow the streaming strategies that are recommended like switching accounts or platforms and making sure you have the appropriate filler songs.
I'm more talking here about the people intentionally trying to inflate the numbers by doing things such as having multiple tabs open with different accounts or streaming while not even listening or even while they're sleeping. Those people are definitely not streaming for enjoyment. They're doing it to fake numbers.
