It wormed it's way into my head and I've been playing it all morning. Twice really outdid themselves with this one. From the song to the MV to the styling, everything was just perfect. The instrumental is beautiful and there are some small earworms in the song that make the song memorable but don't throw off the chill vibe. Only complaint is I felt like after the rap there could have been a trumpet (?) solo to make the song feel slightly more complete. Other then that it's everything I could have wanted and more. Dethroned ASAP as my fave 2021 release.

I feel like a What is Love type concept would suit them really well. Their lyrics already talk about things like friendship and mood swings that would be relatable to teenagers, so a song about asking what love is would be perfect. Maybe something like watching your friends all start getting their first boyfriend's and feeling left out or seeing your parents happy together and wondering if you'll ever have that with someone.
Idk just something I want to see.

The main producer, Steven Lee, worked on OMG's "Secret Garden," "SSFWL," "Nonstop," and "Remember Me." Caroline Gustavsson also worked with him on some of those songs. OMG songs are bops so I'm really excited to see the musical direction the producers will go for Lightsum.

In these two schedules, there is no mention of individual teasers. Why is that? It's very unlikely that there won't be individual member teasers so why are they not on the schedules? It's just confusing me a bit as to why a company wouldn't put everything on the schedule so fans would know what to expect.

My problem with western adaptions is they are just lazily done. Its obvious from the video that they cant dance and whoever choreographed it has no idea what to do with their formation. There is one part of the video they just seem to be dancing in a weird diamond shape.
And if you look at 0:32, they literally have unsynced parts in the music video (which i think is why larger groups are harder to do).
Still a horrible attempt. We need a SKILLED western kpop group, but it seems no one wants to commit to training or finding members who can sing & dance well. Also my problem is, they always choose less visually appealing korean girls, like those are the only ones willing to tie themselves to this disaster. No shade, but coming from someone that generally prefers asians, the white girls are prettier here and that doesn't sit right with me

This wasn't done for an actual debuting group. This was a fun project for teenage girls who were into kpop. It was a small side project for a TV show about foreigners and Korean culture. Do agree with you about visual thing though. Korean beauty standers generally praise features more found in white people so it's not surprising the girls of color didn't fit them very well.
