Feels pretty even I would say, but for me Sistar have had more impact with songs like So Cool and they also probably was better as artists and singers. But always hard to compare because they have a bit different type of music style.
I'm a BP fan but it have takeing a hit from the long period of boring songs they had after their amazing good As If It's Your Last. It felt like they were wasting away three years with few releases and when they did come out with new songs it was dull songs like Ddu-Du Ddu-Du. I hope that with Lovesick Girls they will be back on track again, but I fear they will go back to the "dull times" again.But Sistar also had some dull stuff, I never really liked Alone, pretty boring song, but always got back with some fun songs. So if you compare the songs, it's pretty even, maybe a little edge to BP if you look at the early BPs songs and their lates Lovesick girls.
D4 and hylt boring?sistar have more impact than bp?
Helppp....bp are just as good artists if not better since all the songs they were credited in charted wayy better and were critically acclaimed -

Melon did use downloads in it charts, iirc 1 downlad = 100 streams or something like. I don't know about the new 24h chart tho, one could hope it doesnt count it as nowdays only fandoms download songs to boost initial charting.
Charting number wasnt included as far i was informed. U are talking about the lies era i think. Gaon still includes downloads thats why lyw got a #1. new one aint that complicated if u are interested in learning it. Good day. I wish u from the bottom of my heart

No they are not, if you think that you know shit about korean charts. There's plenty of small changes, charts no longer existing, increased userbase (until 2020 at least), the massmove from downloads to streams in different stages which ofc also affects charting a whole lot when it comes to both initial charting and longevity, as well as UL's.
This aint gaon we are talking abt anymore. its melon and its charting wasnt affected by downloads. Exactly! small changes didnt make big differences. The only thing major that was changed was the zombie streaming

Actually D4 was released in june even.
Digital points calculations change by the year and is also useless as a metric to compare different years with, and pre 2018 it wasnt even a thing, as streams and download numbers were still available then.
I feel this is just gonna drag on back and forth and is kinda pointless thing to argue about really, i don't really care for either group but i know most of blackpink's song and even listen to them sometimes while i can't remember a single sistar song.
Blackpink is now and have everything for them, while sistar disbanded long ago.
Even with that bp still had pwf and aiiyl under their belt. The only major change was downloads and zombie streaming. The charting stayed the same. I mixed up d4 with a sistar song released in april. Sorry for the blunder

They had 2 in the top 5 for 2012..
Not 1 but 2.. d4 is the only song on a similar level to those songs. not to mention their countless other hits.
Anyway this is getting boring, i prefer BP personally anyway.

Stability matters , in the first weeks/months anyway and if its in the upper end of the chart. But once again you are putting up a lot of stats that are a usless metric to compare with songs 5-8 years back. Had the charts stayed and worked exaclty the same sure.
The only good metric we have to compare with songs so far apart is chart ranks, and there blackpink have yet reached the same level of success with as many songs over as many years as sistar/twice/2ne1, that doesnt mean they won't reach/surpass it (im sure they will) or that they don't have songs that were bigger than any one of them.
Charts pre 2020 are basically identical to charts in the past lmfao.
Longest charting milestones were never regarded as useless .bp already eclipsed sistar..anyone with a sane mind would know this. D4 alone outsold sistar

rosé did a slow rap in otg. Jennie is known for rapping and stage presence .rosé is a great actress too. Plus both of them have a knack for songwriting
