Which I would also call sexist if this was two men. Pinning woman in my opinion is sexist because it is how people (mostly men, because I see mostly men do this) get woman to hate each other making woman think they have to be in comp. with eachother.

The title of the OP thread rubs me the wrong way lmao
What rubbed the wrong way first when I saw the title is that she didn't even put Ginas name they just called her "this woman." Like if your going to be sexist at least call the woman by her name..

Coming from the US some of the smartest people are the most racist. Like politicians; both Rep. and Dem., they are more undercover racists. They don't say racist things but they make the system harder for POCs and make policies to hurt POCs. While the more "dumb" racist are more openly racist. They are the ones that openly say racist things and are openly forward with their hate.

They stop really going to school around high school. Since they have to train.

I mean they really don't have to, there are a lot of questionable people in the industry and they get a pass. They should be able to continue working if they want. Will it be easy for them no, but I believe people will get over it like they get over a lot of things when it dies out. Also people saying they do are more than likey just haters.

Ok that's good. I didn't really read it through much just saw it.

I don't think they should hiatus until we actually know the truth. If it is true that Soojin and/or Soyeon(I read somewhere that she also has been accused,) are infact guilty then yes they should for a period in time go on hiatus or have them both or one of them what ever they choose exit the group.

of course people are going to try and spin lisas mentoring into her being mean. she's not being mean. she's their mentor not their friend.

Okay thanks for helping me understand better. So are her fans going to accept her "apology." I mean it really seems to me that she apologized because she got caught not cus she is actually sorry. It really is an apology of I don't remember doing the things I did but sorry.

Bullying is a thing everywhere. But idk if I would ruins someones career of it. Maybe if it was really bad bullying to were the victim has lasting problems from it. I know some bullying gets so bad that victims try to harm themselves maybe then I wouldn't want them to have a career in like show business, but idk really.
-
So is she admitting that she was a bully? She's basically saying that yes she did do things, but she doesn't remember, right?

Of course this is only my opinion, but I think one of the things that play into school and workplace bullying is Koreas hierarchy of age. If you are older you automatically expect your younger classmates or workers to respect you and because of that they abuse it. Also Koreas placing importance of looks and wealth; if you are prettier or wealthier you get people just being "nice" to you because of that, so then some use that as a way to bully others.
-
tbh this isn't only a s korean thing. if you look at how teens this day and age use social media bullying has always been a problem. and if you have been a k-pop fan or k-drama fan or just into korean pop culture, etc you understand that school bullying has always been a big problem in s korea. that's why the whole school/workplace bullying is always a thing in k-dramas.
as for just idols being "outed" as bullys. it's probably not that much of a stretch to think that some idols have at one point been a bully. but i think when they choose to be a trainee if their company chooses to debut them they probably find a way to hide the idols bullying past or pay off victims to not out them. i agree with one of the people before me that said the victim probably was never listened to before and is really upset seeing their bully that made their life hell get successful so now they have a way to get "revenge."

I mean if you mean as a whole group not being an "artist" then alright, but if you're talking individually then there are a lot of idols that are "artist."

I think it's fine when they are still rookies, cus they more than likey aren't making that much money and they can become closer to one another. But when they get older they should be allowed to live alone without fans thinking that the group isn't close. Also it's pretty common in asian countries to live with your family til you get married, so it's like what if they want to live with family. I also agree with the person that said maybe it's because fans think it makes it hard for an idol to be in a relationship.

I would love for them to win a Grammy sinced they have said they want to win one and I would be so proud as an army.
