The "Best Korean Act" is an award local to Korea, like the option to vote for aespa would only be on the Korean site for EMA. On the UK site for EMA the options were Little mix etc. On the US site was different options. Each country/region had their own "Best *insert country* award".
The other categories are global and main awards. Best K-pop, Best group, Artist of the year etc and were available on all versions of the site.

You are missing the point of my post. It's all about the webtoons (external content) announced by HYBE yesterday and the SM stans criticizing the concept of the new girl group for supposedly plagiarizing Aespa's concept. My point's not if you can or not understand their concept through their (BTS, TXT, EXO, NCT) music. That's why I didn't post any regular MV from BTS and TXT. I've only posted TXT's short films related to their storyline. My point's that they have external content (webtoon, game, books, anime) that explores that as I posted and the approach with their storylines is very different. That's my point.
I told you to correct me if I was wrong and I think I was partially wrong cause they do seem to have external content (VCR) focused on the storyline. Aespa doesn't need external content because everything it's very clear and taking into consideration that Aespa and EXO/NCT are from the same company they have completely different approaches and you don't need to be a fan to see it.
I'm gonna explain again, my point is: "If you cannot understand it through the music do they have any content that is going to help you to do it?" That's my point. So I posted the external content of BTS/TXT to show that it was always a Bighit thing. I'm not saying that SM or any other company never did that. I'm saying that when it comes to SM before Aespa it was never that clear.
Please the overall point of your post was extremely clear so don't sweat it.
Basically this explains to the stans who were so loud that actually bighit always did it and planned it with their gg before their faves existed. Ppl will always be loud yet ignorant but that's on them to not speak on crap they had no idea about.

SM stans have lost it. BTS, TXT, EN already have their own world and lore....so they shouldn't give their new group one because aespa just turned up on the scene?
BTS has had webtoons and books for the longest time to help ppl figure out and connect their universe etc so stop your nonsense.
Their GG shouldn't also get the same treatment of a lore, webtoons etc like their other artist because....ya'll dumb and obsessed?

I just want their foundations of rap to come through again. Heavy rap focus might be off putting for some but it will also give rap line a chance to shine again during OT7 work and not just their separate mixtapes.

People thinking this is a set up to drag aespa when no, it's just a set up to get everyone's mind prepared to drag BTS to filth and dismiss BTS if they do win. Same with that SOTY.
Lbr, there has not been one year where a non fan thought BTS deserved to win anything, every year there is always a million threads about absolutely ANYONE other than BTS deserving a win.
