I kinda like it, it's giving modern/sophisticated vibes also a little mysterious hmm...but I do love a black and white aesthetic so
Plus I reckon there will be various iterations of this anyway

The obvious correct answer is no.
However unless one of the groups disband it will always linger because fandoms are made up of thousands/millions you can't stop a group of people from say the fandom that used to be on top re-living their glory years by continuously being toxic shady etc. to the now bigger group/fandom and you cant stop people who are part of the larger fandom that might see something and get triggered from replying with the same energy etc especially if they were apart of whatever fan wars that happened before.
Ideally everyone saying "No" would mean it but it's KPOP there are "victims" everywhere, no one gets to say poor us we are on our best behaviour now and we get attacked. It's just not realistic.
You can only control your specific behaviour, that's the only thing I can justify. I cant answer on behalf of ppl I don't know just because they like who I like.

They can have more than one group in source but gfriend is not that profitable enough. I mean seeing how they move with nuest also says a lot they really care about how much their groups make and want only profitable groups under them. Some may said it is cruel, but business wise they're just doing what business people do. Maximize the profit.
TBH I don't care either way i'm just commenting on how fascinating that everyone is convinced what they say is true. You don't work at HYBE yet you're adamant this is exactly what happened and whoever is arguing with you were not in GFriend and was not at negotiations to know exactly what happened.
But everyone is convinced they are right.

funny part is people act like bang pd wasnt in the trenches trying to personally revitalize gfriend himself. he literally produced their last 2 cbs and mago honestly would have done way better if melon chart wasn't still in its old reform that fcked over many a cb. hybe didnt just buy source and let gfriend go. they wanted them to work
Shhhh no no the other side of the coin and the other reality of what happened behind the scenes should never get brought up because HYBE acquired Source just to disband Gfriend. This is the only narrative that matters.
Oh and they got rid of Gfriend just for Sakura group because you know, they can't possibly afford to have more than 1 group in Source. Like I get the anger and all the theories because the way it was handled was terrible but at some point I read some things and i'm like make it make sense pls.... The way people are speaking so factually about things as well like their version of events is definitely what happened is just amazing to me.

I just love the fact that Source and Pledis get to fly under the radar for their botch handling and management of their label and artist disbandment simply because they went under HYBE. Their own CEO's are there eating popcorn watching the blame go straight to the top of the food chain and cackling like good stuff, we innocent keep it up, yes yes Big bad HYBE get em, they made us act shitty and made you guys forget how shitty we were from the beginning lol.

Can't wait to see what the staging is like. Hoping they get to do a little bit of a medley.
I just love the fact that the Grammy venue is their overflow venue for their sold out concert lmao. ICONIC

"3rd generation is more successful than 2nd generation because they
sold out to(SUCCEEDED) in the west"Fixed it. Anyway this whole sold out thing is hilarious as wasn't some second gen trying to make it in the West going on shows or whatever but had no real lasting impact......
Doing something first doesn't guarantee impact.
These comparisons are always ridiculous 3rd gen stay thriving and 2nd gen was great for what it was.

I would dissect this but I wont. Absolutely no point whatsoever because the tunnel vision is real.
Anyway on main topic I really hope they come back together as their bond seems so pure and I hope this new group helps SinB to get her confidence and motivation back, defo rooting for these girls.

Mentioning that it was after Fever, is a clear indicator that he was unhappy with the acquisition. Interpret it however you want, however being on Hybe only brought tears and suffering to Gfriend and his fans.
The schedule canceled by Source consisted of a Video that was later leaked by the staff, it was edited and uploaded but it was not made public, if it was really just a strategy to update the schedule they worked hard editing a video that never came out.
The most likely thing is that if they return, the only thing that worries is the trademark that is being claimed by Source Music, hopefully KIPRIS will deny it as in the T-Ara case.Ok I give up, I see you have a clear narrative that it's completely because of the acquisition and there are absolutely no other factors that could have possibly contributed despite what one member clearly said. Who knows how others may have been feeling mentally.
But yes that doesn't matter - They were all super happy and evrything was great and out of nowhere HYBE hit em with a hammer and said you're done. Disband now. Okie doke.
The only ones hit with a hammer were understandably the fans as SOURCE their actual label didn't handle this well at all.

The important thing about that interview was knowing that his depression began after Fever, that is, just when Source Music was acquired by Big Hit now called Hybe, it is also strange that despite the fact that it was known that the contract was going to end, the Source staff programmed schedules for that week that were deleted after the article was published on AsiaTen and then confirmed on Weverse, it is as if the Source staff did not know the date.
Then we must emphasize what SinB says and has already said in the past Umji and Sowon and Yerin also confirmed "Gfriend is going to return" which implies that they must be waiting for the trademark right claim to be resolved.
Hmm she mentions her depression was personal about not being able to look at herself, nothing to do with the acquisition - she couldn't even watch fancams of herself - it sounds alot deeper with personal issues than the "Hybe's fault" connection you are trying to make...
Also of course promotions would have still been scheduled by Source to give appearances that they were still doing them because as she said, they knew atleast a month before so it wasn't as sudden as people try to claim. They waited for the official announcement to cancel so it appears sudden to those who don't know. If they cancelled before folks would wonder whats up.
Sounds like mentally they could have been all over the place and the break as gfrend might give back the motivation that she lost. Hopefully they can come back rejuvenated and stronger together later..

It's obvious it's going to be a loss but what's also clear is that it doesn't matter to them.
Also what a lowkey flex
