Their first really good song. Well I liked their debut with Happinies also, but they lacked a bit in experience and quality in that one maybe.

Coffee should be black. I see people haveing so much milk and cream it looks like milk with coffee, not coffee with milk....

I haven't seen many J-dramas, but the ones from the 90s are probably their best. Isn't that the Golden era of Jdramas?
Anyways, my favorite J-drama so far (and I don't think anything will top it anytime soon) is Long Vacation. It doesn't have the kind of 'weird' Japanese acting that is prevalent in newer dramas and the story isn't outrageous.
I watched that drama a couple of years ago an rembember it was good. J-dramas and K-dramas from late 90ies/early 00ies can be very charming and good, even if I have not seen that many of them. A bit more "slice of life" dramas. Problem is that it's a bit hard to go back a watch dramas from that time because the big improvments in picture, sound and production quility since then.
Hard to pick my best J-drama, so many good ones and hard to rank them, dramas like Orange Days, Slow Dance, Last Christmas are only a few I remeber I liked a lot. -
No big suprise contries that had it "easy" before (Asian contries) would get it worse soner or later. Sydney also having problems now. I would say the Australians are doing a big unrelastic tactics aiming for total lockdowns and zero cases. Ant some point the population will rebel...... Still, it's a walk in the park in SK compared to what many European contries have had even if it much better tody but it can easly blow up much worse. I guess acctivies for kpop-groups will be put on hold for some time.

This really makes 2018-2020 groups rather old lol. I always felt 4th gen still doesn't exist completely. The competition will be huge if yg and hybe decide to debut next year too.
I have said all the time 2018-2019 is not really 4th gen...

Is this a twice replacement? I guess the gap is similar to itzy-twice.
That was my guess, but hard to tell before knowing what kind of group it is. But lifespans of groups are around 7 years + some years for successful groups. But honestly it feels be early to put a new girl group early 2022.

They are more or less a younger version of Twice but for the Japenese market, same type of songs.

I used to like their japanese songs, but the last this and the last couple of songs have been a bit of a disappointment. Their more mature concept have taken a toll on the fun part I think.

Probable the same people that constantly write about how well songs and groups do on charts. When a song have reached a top spot on the charts they need something else to write about and the next thing after being nr 1 on a charts is "is this a national hit?". Some fans have some kind of need to constatly compare song and groups against each other all the time.

I hate when they stuff like that, replacing more than half of the members and still pretend it's the same group. No.
