I used to watch every groups' comeback on music shows (god bless my freetime as a student).
That reminds me I used to watch BTS music shows LIVE when I was a student (sometimes) Truly jobless behavior.

I know we generally listen to music a lot more but I've been finding myself gravitating a lot more towards live performances of my faves rather than going to AM or Spotify to stream their music. They do not even need to be performances where there's too much dancing or visual effects.
I don't know if it's because their performances have become so scarce or is it nostalgia. Is this what happens with 2nd gen fans? Or am I going old? Or is it the kpop parasocial sneaking in.
Display MoreI loved the Tiny Desk (home) concert!

And the Dynamite dance break from the 2020s MMA is one of my all time favourite!

Both were sooo good. They have so many great performances it's crazy.
Kmedia reporting what we already knew.
It's been too long and we still have 6 months to go
Yess, I was rewatching them recently and I especially love this and their muster sowoozoo performances. My favorite part was that the backtrack was low and we could hear their voices perfectly
And it has been almost 5 years
I'm very confused on how this basic concept is lost on people. It's not about Bang PD himself.
When you use being fat as a means of dragging someone, someone who you think “deserves it” for being fat, then it’s like being fat itself becomes the reason for their villainy.
This contributes to normalizing fatphobia against regular people who don’t “deserve it”.
It is baffling how normalized fatshaming like this is.
Is it available in english or do you know Korean?
One thing I definitely liked in this episode is the focus on sign language.
I remember he got flack for promoting feminist books by male incels on that one korean forum in particular that also targeted female idols like Irene for promoting the same book to fans.
Anyway as I said, he was not awarded a medal or anything for "activism"He was simply put on a list as an example of positive influences. And if yall can get so upset over a list than that's on y'all. I simply wanted to share that he wasn't there simply because
It's a list specifically about violence faced by women and mentioning feminist books or promoting/supporting women doesn't cut it.
I find this so random because he has NEVER spoken or even claimed to know about violence faced by women in general.
But of course there are people in the thread doing the most over a list from a random site.
Display MoreI understand that they aren't choosing woman because it's about "Male Role Models" and I want to point out that Army's actions aren't a reason to make him illegible of being on that list.
But I don't think he should be on this list due to learning about woman and feminism. That should be the norm to understand a social movement that's happening around the world.
If you are a male Korean celebrity and are on the Male Role Model list I expect at least to be critical of the misogyny that happens on your country. There are some horrible stories coming from the country like the telegram where they were posting AI images from female idols and female family members.
I'm not saying someone to fight for the cause, but at least be critical of the injustices.
But then, it's not RM's fault of being on this list and he shouldn't do what I've said or be the kind of guy I described, it's just that I don't think he deserves to be on the list due to what they've written.
Exactly, stupid kpop fanwars aside, the stories coming out of Korea some even very recently have been horrendous. Someone who hasn't even spoken up about those issues or EVER talked about violence faced by women should not be mentioned like this.
If all groups performed live with 0 backtracks like lsfm did, fans will finally have some realistic expectations of their faves vocal skills.
Kpop fans are unique in a sense that they accept and love subpar from their own faves but expect their non-faves to go beyond.
The reason a lot of 2nd gen were great performers is because they sang live. Even though they had shit music.
It's not even a competition.
And the latest
Starting with come back to me
They literally look like scenes from a movie.
