It'll be pure denial to state that this immense support is not part of the reason BLACKPINK are as successful as they are today.
Whether or not BP actually reaches their peak (that is if they haven't already) will depend entirely on their creative direction in the future.
But there's no reason to be worried about that.

Display MoreIt's kind of hard to compare album sales due to BPs low discography but their peak was Born Pink which sold ~2.5m copies in the first month. Twice's peak is Ready To Be which sold ~1.6m copies in the first month. So BP wins.

And then of course BP dominates on YT and Spotify, BB appearances and such, while having a fraction of the discography. I love both groups but I just think BP wins and we may have yet to even see their peak

They enforce BP's peak, sure but it should be used on a secondary basis. Isn't there some other type of metric that can used to prove your stance? Use that and not streams and views because a lot of people don't even pay attention to that nor trust it.

This absurd difference in exposition has nothing to do with popularity, is thanks to interscope and yg paying a lot of money for it and jeremy erlich, the executive of interscope that got bp on the label and become later a head on spotify giving it to them.
I watched with my own eyes how shut down got the today's top hits #1 position and cover 1 minute after release while ones of the head of spotify erlich was blowing heart fingers to them on instagram, meanwhile jungkook with own of the biggest hits on spotify in recent times, breaking record after record daily took like 4 months to get something blackpink right on release. So of course blackpink got things you can get just by being popular and successful, something that the money and connections I mentioned before got them.
When bp song got into a spotify celebratory big playlisting but bts didn't, when blinks defense for bp to get 1 week of premium streams for their entire album with born pink was that spotify did the same for drake and taylor swift I knew you bums are not serious people. And standing there, facing the pure horrifying precision, I came to realize the obviousness of the truth. The abysmal difference on streams was because blackpink got money and connections, a privilege twice never had, and that's fine, good for them, bp will still outstream twice without it but with that privilege of course the difference will be while bigger, and there is no shame on that, twice did great all in their own.
And of course a group with all that privilege for 6 years will still get more streams than a group who never had it. And you guys can cry me a river all you want, people are rightfully pointing it for newjeans and illit now and we will do for blackpink too.
