Newjeans doesn't have a world tour to compare and their albums didn't sell 1.7 each this year. Their japanese release also didn't sell as much as Ive's in Japan. Either way, they are already mentioned as the big 3 and my response was only because you questioned Ive so it doesn't make sense to mention nj when they're already included. If Ive isn't one of the big 3 then it has to be any other gg that isn't nj or aespa.

What truly baffles me is how Ive clearly dominate in physical and touring and how quick y'all are to dismiss them to give place to other gg that may be doing well, but aren't dominating in anything.

They are the best selling gg this year with individual release for both Korean (switch sold 1.7m) and japanese (crush sold 200k+ in japan). They have the biggest world tour for 4th gen gg with 440k of attendance. 5 consecutive #1 songs and several are still charting on melon. Sang in lollapallooza this year and are already booked for coachella next. Name any gg that did better than them in this area and then it will be debatable lol

World tour did wonders to them, it's the happiest the girls have ever been since debut. They genuinely enjoy singing and dancing on stage for the crowd

Ngl I agree with some of these but they're wrong about Ive when they have songs like I Am, Either Way and Heroine

Boring group honestly. I hate how they sing in the most monotonous way possible.

That being said, I appreciate their originality and how well curated their discography and image is and totally understand their appeal. If I liked their music more and didn't found their singing bland I would like the group more. Before their debut I anticipated this gg a lot as I thought Min HeeJin x Hybe would be a combo for the history books lol.

I was disappointed by their boring, safe music, even though I listen to some of it occasionally, but everything else seemed right. I still believe they were hardcarried by hype, though.

Individually, I like the members. Haerin is gorgeous and so is Danielle. Hanni and Minji are adorable. Hyein is a bit boring to me ngl. She always have the same expression, but she's stunning.

Imo they're a mix of cool image, and safe and boring sound. It's like when you get too much candy and get sick just looking at it after a while.

They're ok but i feel like they rely too much on hybe hype.

How tf wouldn't they know. Why would they even name an ice cream called lucky vicky if they don't know the meaning behind the name lol. They could have called it just lucky or vicky. Then i would agree that's just words that aren't related to wonyoung. But if you search lucky vicky on google all you'll see is wonyoung. So there's no way it wasn't deliberate.

Also, I don't believe they can recover from the initial disappointment that was their debut. They may grow with time but will most likely be at similar level.

Lucky vicky was a term popularized in korea by wonyoung and if a fan look at that ice cream it's high likely they will buy because of the term association to her.

It may look like just a couple of meaningless words to you but that's because you don't live in korea and don't know the context or why baskin robbins used the term in the first place.

using something attached to wonyoung in a commercial product without paying her is just disrespectful and unprofessional. Maybe they are scared of her stans but let's not ignore that it's an ugly move regardless.
