Hehe, harmonies sounded so good to my ears I felt so overwhelmed.
Also try Cinderella and please tell me what you think
Yeah those harmonies stood out. I do like the song. It's powerful somehow even though you get a chill feeling.
Also, I just typed 'Cinderella' on Youtube and was then surprised that I saw a Disney princess appearing.
I'm a little dumb sometimes.

I am deceased
I cried when I first heard this song
Okay I will check it out.
Need to find more nice B-sides as I so often only know title songs of groups

Are the Americans going to vote in Trump again? What goes on in that country
Thing is, Trump never got the popular vote, not even in 2016.
The system is set up so that the Republicans have the advantage.
Note that every time someone won without winning the popular vote, it was a Republican ( or a National Republican in the first case).
Now, we can argue that some of that isn't relevant anymore because it happened a long time ago, but both the last two Republican presidents got elected once without winning the popular vote.

honestly blame the woke internet for making the song bigger than it actually should have. It was obviously made to bait the woke mob and they took the bait. Now conservative America is having a field day supporting JA. Having his best hit in his entire career….
Ehm, I won't blame black people for not liking this song.
It's saying a lot about conservative America that they would support something like this.

Yeah I don’t know how you can look at the experiences of huge western stars like Lady Gaga and Kesha (sexually assaulted by their producers) and Justin Bieber (harassed and exploited by adults since he was a kid) and come to the conclusion that Kpop is any worse. It’s all the same capitalistic, abusive crap.
Exactly, but I have never seen an article about "the dark side of American pop" like there are a gazillion about Kpop.

Rappers often have that kind of shit in their songs to humiliate someone.
Tupac famously dissed Biggie in a song by claiming he slept with his wife.
Eminem also made two songs about Mariah Carey, who to this day denied having been with him.
I don't think the Weeknd has any reason to want to humiliate Jennie, so I don't think it will be there.

It would be a nice idea.
Maybe they can do it with an EP, so that it is not too much of a time commitment.
I'd like to see one where there is an overarching story that all the MVs are telling.

I was a major listener to The Weeknd before the idol. But now when I’m aware of his history of not only Asian fetishism in his “art” but also sexualized violence to Asian women (pre- the idol, but i became aware from the aftermath debate) i actually can’t even stand to hear his songs
And now he chase clout of kpop. Didn’t he just mention NJ?
If this is a dis-track to kpop and not only a pun for a drug lollipop, but even that’s fcking annoying, then ….
The Weeknd went from cool, enigmatic star that I don't know that much about to a creepy laughing stock after that series.

It's always interesting to me when Westerners talk about 'the dark side of Kpop'.
Does it exist? Yes.
Does the dark side of Western pop exist?
Yes, but nobody is talking about that in that way.
Addictions, suicides, eating disorders, sexual harassment, people dying of overdoses, hell, there is even a 27 club of young artists who die at that age.
If it's going to be about the dark side of Kpop, Travis Scott is the last who should talk

Yeah it's not obvious who that is at all
