Yeah... The way SM treats Winwin is horrible. He barely gets any lines in any songs, and he basically got removed from 127, without any warning or notice that he was being removed from the group. Things are a little better for him in WayV, but he still lacks lines in songs compared to the other members, except for maybe Hendery, who has a comparable amount.

It did work for a short time, but then three of Exo's Chinese members left, as you said. Ever since then, LSM doesn't seem to have too much luck with promoting SM groups in China. Maybe things will change, but I really don't think LSM can make another group big in China.

Depends on the company. SM is probably the worst for Chinese idols by far. I don't blame any of them for leaving that company with the way they were treated. I'm saying this as a huge Winwin fan, but I hope Winwin is the next Chinese idol to leave SM. They literally act like Winwin doesn't exist.

Wealthy

Through K-pop, I feel like I've been able to better appreciate cultures different from my own. I'd probably never know about Korean culture if it wasn't for K-pop.

The music is amazing, and so are many of the idols. The content also tends to be super enjoyable and creative in my opinion.

The cons are definitely the toxicity of many online communities, especially Twitter. You can get bashed for liking certain groups on there and some people take things way too far.

I got into K-pop through Vkei. I really liked the fanservice in Vkei, and one day, a fancam of Shinee's Jonghyun and Taemin was recommended to me because it was really similar to the fanservice in Vkei. This was in 2012. Through this fancam, I discovered Shinee, and that's basically how I got hooked on K-pop.

Most of the Netflix Originals. I don't care enough about any of them enough to watch them. Also, The Office I just found really stupid most of the time (except for the Fire Drill episode).
