    Yeah It really was a big coincidence! I'm not going to claim that Jin is a good person, because he's had his fair share of scandals. For example, there was a rumor that the reason he was sent to America was that he got another underage idol pregnant. Because it was very weird for him to go in hiatus like this at a time when his group was at its peak. It was said that this was just a cover-up story. But this American adventure gave him a new purpose, and that is to sing in English. This desire was the reason why he chose to leave KAT-TUN, even though it was already a record-breaking group, and this is the first step in the chain of events that started the end of his group. There were some other scandals, but let's not drain the thread further, if you are curious, you can message me.


    Jin's solo career was very good at first after he left the company, but the news of his marriage and child made him lose almost all his fans. The fact that he developed stage fright and became addicted to alcohol, even drinking it on stage, did not help his situation. We can also say that Johnnys prevented him from appearing on TV.     Oh are you a fan of Akanishi Jin? Or did you discover him by accidentally? If it is the second, I can tell you that you have given a very on point example, even if unknowingly. Let me explain to you. Akanishi Jin was formerly a member of KAT-TUN, one of Japan's most popular groups, and was also a talent in Johnnys. Maybe the name Johnnys doesn't remind you of anything, but the company was Johnny Kitagawa's company, and last year it exploded with a huge scandal showing how big of a pedophile pervert the man was and that he had been sexually abusing underage kids in his company for many years.


    There is a BBC documentary on this subject, and it even led to the explosion of the scandal, the company issuing an official apology and changing its name (its name is now Starto), and in the meantime, many talents left the company. When this scandal made a big impact, the BBC focused on another big scandal, the Burning Sun scandal, because they liked the attention.


    While Akanishi Jin was still with the company, there were always rumors that he was Johnny Kitagawa's "favorite". Unlike other idols, Akanishi was never punished even if he was involved in many scandals, and was even allowed to take a break and go to America to study English during a period when his group was at its most popular.


    But Jin was determined to leave the company and go solo, even if it meant losing his fans and everyone else, and he did. He got a popular actress pregnant and left his company with shotgun marriage. Pinocchio is a song included in one of his first albums released as a solo artist. It was addressed to his former label, Johnny Kitagawa, and his fans.


    When Johnny Kitagawa died, Jin released a very wierd and sarcastic song.

    Regardless of what happened between them, the example you gave is actually a good example of how the conflicts between an idol and a company owner are reflected in songs and the truth will come out sooner or later.

    What a breathtaking visual experience!! :legend-bee: I have so many thoughts. I need to watch this more times. Is he running from something??? Or coming back to himself at different stages of life?? Love helps him find a way out of the maze of his brain/emotions? Or making choices/decisions in our life (the doors, running from responsibilities). When he chooses his path/finds the right person, the door with the 3 colours open and everything goes smoother?     So basically MHJ bought 18% of share from Hybe this year, however, only 13% of that are sellable and if she wants to sell the rest she must be under Hybe's permission.


    Now this is the tricky part, if MHJ left Hybe/ ADOR it will triggers the non-competitive contract which prohibit her to work inside the industry.


    If she can't get Hybe's agreement on selling that 5% of share, she basically can not work inside this industry ever again. That's why she referred it as slave contract.


    Hybe are trying to let her quit so they won't need to pay a huge load of severance pay, this is also why MHJ didn't say she would quit or anything cos it will be used by Hybe.


    As for the contract, she can apply for judicial review to overturn it as it just sounds really unreasonable though I am not sure if that's possible in KR.

    I hope BTS members are watching all this and taking notes. Because this company is not their family, it is a place that can engage in character assassination for their own interests the moment they think of leaving. I have a feeling that if one or more of the members wanted to leave the group, they would not hesitate to portray them as traitors. And the worst part is knowing that because there are so many company stans, there are fans who might jump on this hate train and turn their backs on members who try to leave.

    I don't know if it's just me, but it seems to me that MHJ is more angry at the co-CEO than Bang PD? MHJ said more than once during the press conference that she trusted Park and that he betrayed her trust. My impression is that Park gained MHJ's trust while acting as a mediator between the two. Maybe she even foolishly talked about her plans, thinking that she could take him with her, and there's even a possibility that this secret whistleblower was Park. Of course, instead of doing that, Park immediately told Bang about her plans, and that's why HYBE started the all of thing so well prepared.


    There should be a second season of this drama lol

    IDK him but since he mentioned it here, I answered by focusing on the forum in general. It is a fact that the few Armys left behind in the forum are mostly Jungkook biased, I think no one can deny that.
