Yes I indeed expected her to have the best album release, when I saw Lisa releasing autotuned tracks, Jennie releasing same old kpop formula, and Rose announcing her album with a really personal interview, I knew she had a shot. But I really didn't expect her to blow up more than Lisa, considering she has a big solo fandom. I still believe Bruno's involvement here played a major role.

It wasn't a good song but I don't think that's the reason it was hated, bcs kpop fandoms have made many terrible songs hits in the past. I think people didn't like their transition from girl crush to this kind of music. Other than that , when jype released teasers, people were expecting a royal concept so the actual music threw them off. I remember the entire kpop twt was disappointed and throwing a fit that day.

Sounds exactly the same but nah I don't think I've heard this song before. I think the entire song gives you a nostalgic and kind of "I've heard this before" vibe like Ava Max songs.

I mean wbk she'd end up releasing the best album among members but since they had 2 biggest it girls of kpop, (and Jisoo occasionally making noise did to her kdrama) I'd give credit to Bruno Mars here for bringing hype and attention.

One thing YG did right was to let each member establish themselves as solo artists bcs this is freaking amazing how each member has their own identity and huge fandoms to carry them.

It looks like Teddy only debuted them so izna doesn't end up getting the hype of "first Teddy GG". Their debut doesn't look well planned, with no budget, promo and Teddy in the credits it seems to me, debut was rushed.

I watched one of their performances and it was unbearable bcs their vocals seemed more like shouting than singing, they need to tone that down a bit.
