They've been active for like almost a decade but barely have experimented or released anything, this is what keeping the hype. The minute they start releasing back to back music, their hype will die. I mean look at Lisa's solo career people already forgot the existence of new women when it's literally her best track till date.

I don't think it has anything to do with Korean fans investing more, because last time I checked Chinese fans do the most bulk buying and they're not even paid dust by the companies. Even hybe, whose huge capital comes from international market doesn't give a f about the international fans but would cancel one of the most anticipated comebacks of their biggest groups over protests by Koreans.

Western fans don't spend enough money. If K-pop companies made more money from western fans than Koreans and were confident that they could rely on them, then K-pop companies would listen to them more. They don't because we don't. Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, SEA: these are the areas that have shown willingness to spend big, and K-pop companies will cater to them and listen to them.
Also, to be frank, the western fandom not only spends less but are more divided in opinion. Don't let online Twitter and Reddit fool you.
Pretty sure most of the profit comes from international markets.

Alright. Well, I feel like MHJ started complaining about Illit before summer started. And If she didn't have evidence back then, it's not a good look to already go public making complaints of plagiarism about Illit and their company.
And if the evidence was recently obtained, I honestly don't feel like she will ever file a lawsuit for plagiarism against Illit bc the claim holds no weight. She could prove me wrong, but seeing already how she's been moving, I doubt it.
She's just mad about illit's success that's it.

I don't get hybe's plans and approach for jungkook's solo. They promoted him to the fullest, I don't think any other member or BTS ever received this kind of promo. I was entirely sure, he won't be leaving for military because hybe seems to be investing a lot in him so they'd cash him until BTS comes back but he still enlisted. This is really weird
