If you have the money, go for the big ones, because the return is guaranteed.

It's an SM group. Slow burn.

Given JYPE poor support when it comes to solo careers, none of them. Maybe if they leave soon enough.
Just look at Sunmi and how she started to have a career after she left JYPE.
Then you have Somi, Ha:tfelt, Jamie, Baek Yerin, Baek A-yeon...

JYPE always play safe.

WhyKnock has no purpose anymore.

Might as well, It's not like they are doing anything, even Somi couldn't escape.

Boys groups in general use a lot more gimmicks, and they have a bigger and more dedicated fanbase, not really apples to apples. Then you have to remember that all those boy groups mentioned above have a lot more members too.
Keeping that in context, there is really no other group that can match their sales on the same terms, at least not right now.

He wants to bring back the idol system to America. Like in the Nsync and BSB time, but with double of the exploitation.

Domestic success is more important, It helps with the popularity of the group and members and from that, they can branch out to other areas of entertainment, like acting or variety shows.
It's just way easier for companies to capitalize on the popularity inside Korea than outside.

My thoughts on this....not good.
I mean how on Earth can this not feel like a bit of a downgrade? We got all 9 for 8.49 a month and now if we want that(granted with separate rooms(which eliminates member interaction)) we will have to fork out 29.97 a month, based on other group prices(360 bucks a year)...that's so high...
For that price you can get Netflix, Amazon Prime and PS+ so it's just not competitive for me in a world where we're all running multiple sub's per month....8.49 was competitive, this new price isn't at all for most forcing us to pick only 1 or 2 members....disappointing.
Not even mentioning at this point with the info available such as who interacts with fans the most, who uploads the most pics, who post the most messages we already have spread sheets that show certain members are much better bang for buck meaning we'll see probably a massive sub difference which kind of makes me sad....
Times are different now, no touring means a lot less money coming in.

Yes that's usually the case in the first four weeks and I'm struggling why Itzy and Stray Kids stans are getting so worked up over my comments.
It's not even like I said anything bad about them. I pretty much just said, that they are more popular because of ad views. Also "I called Itzy and Stray Kids out " because I was talking about JYP and Itzy/Stray Kids have the most ad views from JYP. Why was I talking about JYP?
Because they do it consistently and this is something the OP was talking about.I kinda get why the people that compile the data for ad views on Kpop music videos decided to temporarely take down their site because of toxic fandoms. Btw I'm a fan of NiziU and I'm following ITZY's releases, but apparently I'm salty, pressed and mad about them. lol Kpop fans
From the big 3, JYPE is the one that needs the most, even with all that they still can't compete with YGE e SME in terms of popularity and revenue.
At this point, it feels like they spend more on ads than the budget for the MV. I can think of a couple of areas where all that money would be better spent.
