honestly, I'm not too surprised by this outcome. They dropped the ball handling this situation. I think if they didn't shoot themselves in the foot earlier on, she probably could've recovered from this.

Tbh, as much as I like Galactika's work with ITZY and even liked JYP's titles to extent (Mafia and ICY were growers for me), I kinda hope we get to work with more producers in the future. I know we've been getting more variety on the b-sides, which is great. But I wanna see what others can also do for ITZY.

hm they can dance. But I feel like there's likely more members. I wonder if we'll get a video in the future of the vocal line.

Pearl, Byul, Park Jihoon and Lim Jeonghee had fairly good careers under JYPE as Non Female Idols that weren't in groups.
Baek A Yeon was their last Non-Idol Female that did pretty well.
For GGs, 15& members didn't do well, while the others were basically promoted as a part of renewing their contract.
15& did pretty well digitally. A little more effort and they could've been bigger. Same for with Jamie/Jimin's solo work (Yerin did and does well digitally, but that's mostly because of her own efforts).
You aren't entirely wrong to say that JYPE has had successful solo acts in the past. Unfortunately though, it doesn't change the fact that they completely dropped the ball in later years. Granted, groups do bring the money, so I imagine that's why their main focus goes to the groups.
As for the OP's question, as much as I love 2pm, most people aren't going to pay attention to their solo works unless they're fans. Especually when most of it is in Japan.. Multiples members are known in the public eye, but unfortunately most people are missing out on their music, both group and solo.

No doubt, they have such a strong bond for all 13 to stay together. I hope they got a good deal on their end.

lol they are doing competition for NiziU lol
it was only a matter of time before more labels starting doing this lol. NiziU's success is probably going to spur more companies trying their hand in the future.
I don't know who they are, but interesting.
Hiroomi's group is under LDH. I dont know if you're familiar with Exile, or E-Girls but they are/were also among the artists under LDH.

they should've saved Cry For Me and released it officially as single but I wouldn't be surprised if we got something kinda like that
