I'm glad he took accountability for this, partially because JYPE's usual motto is to ignore situations and hope they pass, though Stray Kids specifically have owned up to their problematic behavior before (for the most part).
That said, not my apology to accept, so other than I hope he continues to be more responsible with his words and actions, not much I can really say.
I don't deny the lyrics are quite questionable and disturbing (whether he was trying to be some edgy teen or he had issues). If we are talking about situations based solely on idols having said/acted racist or offensive for example, then yeah it could rank high. But if we were referring to general idol scandals, I'm not sure. Again, not trying to downplay or be dismissive of this situation by saying it's not as scandalous as others. But there have been some pretty heavy and disturbing stuff that's happened in KPOP over the years that I've seen.
That said, I really do hope he takes accountability for this.
Welp. I would like to hope that in recent years, he's come to realize that shit is unacceptable and people wanting accountability for it is understandable.
Not to be dismissive of situations where idols have used racist/derogatory terms , but I don't know if this would even crack top 10.

The irony of JYPE being salty and petty because of how much GOT7 potentially brought in from international activities when it was them that marketed and pushed them as an international group to begin with. Maybe if they had tried a bit harder to build a more domestic fanbase, they'd would've had more $$ in their pockets.
I think Twice will likely be okay given their status. Though in general, I wonder how this adjustment effects earnings in the likes of Japan since most of JYPE's act, both group and solo, are active there.
Also, I feel kinda bad for NiziU then, because I imagine they gotta share their money with both JYPE and Sony.

I'm not a fan, so I'm not trying to speak for any IKon fans. But I don't think this necessarily has to mean it's a bad thing? Queedom gave most of their contestant pretty nice popularity boosts by the time it was said and done, even for some of their more established contestants. While I get that IKON is already an established group with hits under their belt, but I don't think it would hurt to be on a show like this, unless MNET messes up and the show turns messy.
I've been expecting it since they've been talking about working on songs and concept ideas already. But it is nice to hear ;A;
