i don't see some members resigning, and their contracts are up in august. its pretty much over for them though i can definitely see one more group album before they cease group promotions. they are a 7 year old group this year and i think SM is tired of trying so hard with them, they already peaked and their fanbases are solidified so theres no need to push them as a group so much anymore. when snsd were in their 7th year they only really released one more album + the anniversary release and went their separate ways too

My guess is Red Velvet will make 2 CB this year. Aespa goes to the Red Velvet route. Red Velvet cover was single Be Natural. SM doesn't have any other girl groups right now, you say he won't be able to manage two girl groups. When Red Velvet debuted, there were three girl groups.

I dk think RV could have a comeback soon thlugh. I feel like they want to wait until Irene's movie comes out as way to either gauge the public's reaction to Irene becoming active again and/or to continue to slowly bring her back.

So sad to see that.Yes SM must promote Aespa as the new generation.But cmon really now?They can give Red Velvet just 1 comeback.If they won't have a comeback after aespa then I guess they will go for May/June release.Maybe a summer comeback idk
