I watched the whole show and agree, she wasn’t the worst of the night but she didn’t go hard like we knew she could. She did a lot of moving from stage to stage without doing much and even the finale was meh to me. Like another user said, there were too many pauses in the performance where she did nothing but smile awkwardly IMO that did ruin the fluidity of the whole thing. She wasn’t the only one with the backtrack but she needs to learn how they perform on stage in the west because as early as the start of the performance, I could swear her lips were not even in sync with the backtrack. I can get she might have been nervous but she can use this as a learning lesson and I am saying this as I was there rooting for her through my screen that night. 😊
I also wish she would promote her music more. She’s feeding her fans well since launching her solo career, more than antis expected, but she releases stuff to only promote on TikTok and YT and I guess hoping the fans will do the rest? It may have worked for BP who didn’t really do music shows but across the ocean, it works a little different, especially if you’re trying to enter the scene. “New Woman” deserved better. 😭

I’m not really following the drama unfolding step-by-step but if they were allowed the chance to buy out their contract, that would not be the only money they’d be paying. At this point, I would hope they have a legal team guiding them along the way, and I am sure that’s not a free service either. MHJ should be footing some of, if not all, the bills because this whole thing started between her and Hybe.

How is it not relevant to point out that hip-hop artists -- who, for better or worse, are representatives of an entire culture -- can also be insensitive or downright mean-spirited? The fact that we're even having this discussion proves how influential they can be. These stereotypes exist largely because of them.

The performers are to draw in the crowd but the event is for a more philanthropic cause which might explain the speeches in between performances. The tickets are said to be free but there are certain criteria to get them.

The video is literally a homage to Thailand her native home. And people are now questioning the legitimacy of people who are apart of the LGBTQ+ community being in the video? I’m sorry but what is there to question when it’s one of the few countries in the entire world that embrace that lifestyle? Matter of fact, the video isn’t even about that particular community, but the overall fact that the LGBTQ+ is so normalized in Thai culture it would actually seem more offensive if there wasn’t some type of representation in the video…tf? Some people really have nothing better to do I swear….

Lisa looks stunning throughout. I would have wanted an extra vocal bit or another rap bit though. I dislike short songs. But this is just a start for Lisa.
I just hope people around her don't convince her this is the only type of songs we love from her...
I completely agree. Loved it on first listen but it was over too quickly. I’m sure if she decides to release more music she’ll experiment with other sounds. Loved the MV and just how she’s so proud of her Thai heritage.
