i thought i was over it. apparently i'm not honestly the potential if it was treated a bit better by the company and not just a throwaway song given to misamo.

i'm more with the employees side(where twice and misamo belongs). As a fan I want them to get treated better. But I don't think a company stan like you would understand.

I think JYPE gave them fairly low quality cash grab songs, the majority of their J fans only really cared about getting into the showcases..I mean Once can brag about 600k applications until the cows come home...but struggling to pass 50k daily streams in Japan? Where are those guys?

Y'know Once can pretend all they want but when you have a title performing worse than a soloists b-sides, MV performing like a melody project and your ONLY defense to the release being treated like a b project is 'well it's Japanese so we treated like a b project too' basically just tells you exactly what the OP does. Once didn't support, nor did JYPE...the facts speak for themselves.

the promotion is a cash grab. warner and jype only wanted the fans money since they only focus promoting misamo towards the existing fandom. warner did not even use their industry connections to give misamo some variety or more music show promotion to introduce them to the japanese audience and expand their fanbase.

how can jline status get solidified in japan if only their fanbase check out their release? they only attended one show that get their faces shown. A variety show like what stray kids got is like the bare minimum promo misamo should have for their debut. Stray Kids promoted in more music shows in japan than misamo ever did.

To answer your question, Twice The Feels gave them a 2nd boost in Japan. So their japanese release chart well there even with minimum promo. Unfortunately Misamo is not Twice. The word misamo is not known. @twicechartjpn is not active so i don't have one for hare hare but they were active during celebrate:

The promo is done. The song is already down in some charts. Probably the last time it will increase. There was no viral moment that could help the song. It's a flop debut. But at least they made the fans happy. Small venues for a 2hr performance is a huge thing. You can see and hear them clearly.

if the song is good, it would really give them a huge exposure in Japan. Top boy groups there do 500k-1M oricon and if they get a lot of new fans, they could get that kind of album sales. LiSa is also good in streaming so that could also a boost for them. I kind of accept after ranting it out in the other thread that maybe the difference is the japanese company handling them.

Epic Japan/Sony(i wiki it ) put them in variety shows, music shows & youtube show. Warner probably just don't care and just happy to have a money grab group.
