Could their first Kpop show KCON pave the way for joining on a potential ISAC this year?
Is it possible for NiziU to participate on ISAC?
-
-
-
depends on what the criteria is for ISAC?
is it stated on their website or something?
-
That's very tricky due to them being a Japanese Girl Group and ISAC is on MBC which is a Public Broadcasing Network that still bans Japanese Music, largely as an interest for the South Korean public.
Then again it's interesting that those Networks are slaves to the China Money
-
niziu at isac will be super fun
but probably not
they're promoting as a jpop group with kpop connections
it's better this way
the kcon precedent allows them to naturally perform at future kcons in us and elsewhere
jype got what they needed, in other words
not much additional benefit from participating in isac
-
When is ISAC?
-
it would be really cool if they can go but I don't know if they can since they are a japanese groups but I have high hopes they do

Yeah you're probably right. Do hope they get a dance performance on Studio Choom and programs that has invited foreign groups in the past. I know INI and JO1 from Produce Japan has been there.

No idea, but like someone else answered here, it's probably difficult for them to join since they aren't a Kpop group technically. But I hope they get to appear on shows that are aimed for international audience, like Arirang Simply KPOP and After School. Produce Japan groups has appeared on Studio Choom so that's where I hope JYP can send them too.

that would be very cool and makes perfect sense!
respectable and undisruptive event that gets tons of international views
wouldn't be surprised if the girls are doing it now
next album is dropping in july and they're already in korea doing shoots

i don't think niziu will release a korean album
they're not trying to be big in korea
jype just needs the kpop platform for international distribution
english songs work fine for that
(also, 4th gen gg war is insane in korea
more downside to their stellar reputation than upside for niziu
niziu is arguably the most successful 4th group by sales already)
