Girl groups are doing good. Heck, even Brave Girls is more relevant than a lot of boy groups or "normal" singers and expect Itzy & Nmixx and some older girl groups, most girl groups are doing well at the charts or are at least average.

Kepler is not doing good because of the rigging scandal from Produce101 and because the show was heavily focused on some members to get them in, Itzy has Lia's bullying scandal and thanks to them being good performers and not so good singers with kind of boring title tracks with no real highlights and mixed weirdly they don't chart that well anymore. And Nmixx had a uninteresting and not good sounding title track. Mostly JYP groups are hit by the disinterest thanks to non-catchy tracks, but their fandoms make them sell well
