See the title. IVE uses the same formula as Nmixx but nobody bat an eye. Let's see. Cheap single album, and its even cheaper than Nmixx which below 9 dollars. All the sale for these past few days all are for fanmeets. So my question is, why nobody bother to make a fuzz about it? I seen plenty of threads pop up questioning Nmixx sale. Because they chart well?

Approved the thread. -
Because, unlike nmixx, IVE aren't completely unknown trainees and they have the charting to back it up. They also did not do a special album before debut. Furthermore, lots of companies do multiple fan sign events. The literal point of them is to boost sales. Nothing is stopping other companies from doing the same. Lastly, their albums are not being sold for cheap, unless you are talking about the jewel version, in which case many companies are release a cheap jewel version. There was literally a post about HYBE also doing this for TXT and LSRFM.

I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the info, OP.
I think it's good to be aware how such high album sales are achieved, and that it got an added boost by cheap albums and fanmeet lotteries. On the other hand, it's a practice that's common in j-pop and if it becomes a regular thing in k-pop too, then the playing field gets equalized.
But let's see how things go when full albums will be released, and if fanmeet lotteries will still play a role then.

The sales mix is a calculation that determines the proportion of each product a business sells. Here it will be the amount of each type of cookies that we sell. This amount is calculated based on the needs of a company's customers, as well as what a company is able to produce.
