One day you're praised in the news and articles and the next, people are nitpicking and trying to destroy your reputation. The media is on no one's side. It was never on their side to begin with. Their earlier achievements were either under reported or not reported at all. Negative articles have popped up days leading up to their comeback more times than one. Bad press is nothing new.

Korean fans have said that the outgoing administration was in tight with Bang and Big Hit which helped their profile in Korea, and that the one before was close to YG and YGE which benefited them then but hurt them when Moon came in. And if that's how it goes then it's going to be interesting to see who the new administration favors and how that affects their media profile. But as long as HYBE remember their Dispatch payments it probably won't get too bad.

I mean, this is not unique to BTS by any means. All celebrities in korea get dragged for the smallest things on korean forums. General public still doesnt care about 99% of it.

He delayed in paying them for almost a year and the amount accrued to like $40,000 (It's settled now but he was delinquent to the point that his property got confiscated. Korea has a very good healthcare system because each citizen pays those NHIS fees and all hospitals and medical services are supported by that national health insurance thing. And Jimin accessed the country's healthcare services over the past year while not paying the due insurance fees. He got Covid vaccinations and stayed in hospital to get his appendices removed and even got Covid treatment when he contracted it. He has no excuse there.
