Impressed how IVE surpassed big bang in spotify and billboard global 200

    Yeah. IVE is amazing and can go far if Starship play their cards right.


    About Bigbang, I think Bigbang’s heyday is over BUT they have established themselves and has a loyal fandom. In addition, Bigbang has always been strong in Korea, China and SEA only so maybe that’s why they didn’t chart as well as IVE for global charts. Actually it’s impressive that they are doing quite well considering the scandals that plagued them.

    IVE have done well, but the two can't fairly be compared.


    IVE released a promoted 3 version physical album.


    Bigbang released an unpromoted digital single.

    Bigbang already went top ten on Billboard global charts. No need of millions of playlisting and ads. Genuine organic streams.

    bigbang is not relevant outside sk and china and since they released that boring ass self pity ballad, even their sea fans didn't bother streaming

    don’t bring up facts their fans are sensitive about getting beaten in charting.

    That was last week, kinda like a fandom push because this week IVE went and took Bigbang’s place and BB is nowhere to be found in the top10. If it’s organic, then BB should at either increase its rank or maintain their position in the second week.

    The playlisting and ads paid of on the second week for ive. How is ive going top ten but itzy or aespa haven't when the two are bigger? Twice has only one top ten and ive is matching that? Bigbang obviously had more hype. Bigbang released a boring Korean ballad and still went top ten without lifting a finger. Don't compare legends with artificial trends.

    bigbang's emo ballad was boring af. let's be honest, I doubt many people are going to listen to that song more than once

    Love dive is a refreshing bop when Still life is boring af. people only listened to it because it's BB after a long long hiatus

    And yet here you are, trying to justify Bigbang’s achievements over IVE’s. It’s always VIPs downfall, looking down on groups from smaller labels and thinking they could never surpass BB. And why are you so certain that IVE’s achievement is artificial? Why is it so hard to accept that Love Dive is just a good song and IVE is doing really well?

    Kings of kpop in Korea most definitely. They're more nugu than nct internationally now.


    Their international fans can say they like the song all they want but the massive drop on streaming platforms shows us all that they didn't like the boring ballad either.
