Why don’t Bts do Coachella?

    I don't see bts performing there unless they've some gain. That's how hybe works they'll send bts to the cheapest show if it favours the company or them in some way and won't send them to the biggest festival ever if it doesn't result in some gain.

    This year coachella is dry af, especially after kanye was pulled.

    Coachella peaked after beyonce headlining it, rn only fashion influencer attend it instead of the music lover.

    Think that most people move on to lolapalooza.

    Besides, bts could do stadium tour, they would be crazy to choose coachella over stadium tour during their peak.

    Since multiple (small and big) yg artist have already performed at coachella before and after Bp maybe yg has some connections with the organisers

    (don't mean it in a negative way)


    bts never went to a normal festival before so maybe they just don't want to or feel the need to

    It isn't all about the money. Do you think they're receiving any money to go to American awards?

    Yes, they can do both but ig they don't see the benefit of doing it now after their successful stadium tour. Ngl, I remember this thread after the 2NE1 and aespa coachella fiasco, especially considering how niche aespa in US and how they get to perform on main stage despite that.

    BTS can do their own festival type world tour.

    That's what I'm saying. HYBE calls the shot and for them- Coachella needs to offer BTS enough money and match their stadium fee. I'm guessing there are some talks that happened already between Coachella and Hybe but they can't meet somewhere in between. We all know how HYBE protects BTS' IP and rights (that includes concert fees) like the Megan Thee Stallion lawsuit one. Hybe won't give MTS' label a penny because they believe in BTS' worth. Or maybe, the guys or hybe are not thinking about it yet. Not every artists have to do coachella. So many big artists don't even perform there. I don't get why BTS has to...atp they don't have to prove anything, especially to bitter kpoop stans.

    Are u dense? Because they are an artist, so ofcourse they'll go to music awards like any other artists out there. And they were Nominated for big awards.

    Maybe, they don't think about Coachella yet? Do they have to go, just because other groups went or are going? Bts don't have to prove anything. They just did a Vegas takeover. They'll go if they want to or if Coachella offered them to be a headliner with a lump sum of money. Hybe will accept it then

    SM booked Aespa to perform in Coachella. I guess they're really pushing them in the US. They've been doing it since last year when Aespa performed in MACY's opening which is so random, btw 😭

    Vegas happened and it's just the main course. Later on, Hybe might announce something bigger than Vegas this year (deoends on the city's amenities) Cause Vegas is perfect for things like that
