Itzy is unsuccessful

I’ve seen at least a dozen people say this over the last few months.

Ryujin just donated over $40k usd to a charity. If that’s 10% of her net worth she personally has at least $4m usd in the bank. If it’s 5% she has at least $8m.

This means that Itzy collectively has at least $20m net worth and maybe even $40m if we assume all five members have been responsible financially and invested at a comparable rate as Ryujin. These are reasonable approximates - It’s not like we have their financials, but that’s a lot of $$$.

This is just a small piece of evidence that shows that international success is so much more rewarding financially than thriving in Korea (IU is on a different planet so don’t compare). So all of you fools that get off on constantly posting Korean chart updates on your stans, just stop. Start focusing on the international numbers which is what matters.

Noone has said Itzy is unsuccesful. Only that they've peaked. Which is true.

People saying they've peaked doesn't make they don't make money. It means their upward trajectory has slowed down or completely regressed in some areas (kcharting). Plenty of groups are past their prime yet still bring in tonnes of money like suju, big bang, exo etc.

Fyi I'm not saying I agree with people who say they're past their prime.

Too many assumptions in the first post.

ITZY aren't doing that bad, but right now they're certainly not 1 of the top 4th gen groups.

That said, album sales of K-pop groups these days are so good, those of ITZY's included, that they can go on purely on those.

She's also from a family with money, so I wouldn't assume her Itzy income is all she has.

Lol! Yeah, I thought that was a typo when I first read it and read past it. But if that was for real, then someone skipped some math classes
