why wasn't garam exposed sooner?

  • According to articles and rumours, there were posts about her since last October and she was very popular for her wrongdoings since middle school. Then why wasn't she exposed earlier, before the dropping of the teasers? I'm sure an article like "a HYBE trainee gets exposed for doing this and that" would have made headlines, simply thanks to mentioning the company. Why did the accusers wait for so long?

If they want to get their revenge then good for them but why did they need to jeopardize the debut of 5 other people completely unrelated to the issue? Why didn't they just fire a lawsuit against her and her family or even hybe for giving her a platform? Or give the evidence to hybe and source music and let them deal with her. I'm pretty sure she can even get blacklisted for these accusations so they wouldn't have to worry about her joining another company. There were so many better ways of handling the matter...

Just for the record, I'm not taking a side in this case. I'm just furious the work of 5 girls, including sakura and chaewon, is put on line because of a beef between a bunch of high schoolers :pepe-sad:

  • No one gives a shit about trainees no matter what company they're in unless they're already promoting in some way.

  • Weird. For me the controversy happened as soon as ever. Compare this to last year's cases, with bullying stories emerging years after the accused idols' debut. The way it's happening with Garam makes more sense to me if true. But she's younger and still in her school years so it might be the reason.

  • They can't stand seeing people getting attention or popular.Soojin got exposed like a day after she's revealed to be peripera ambassador.Surely that person can't stand seeing someone from their school being successful and getting all the buzz.

  • literally most of other celebs and actors last year who got accused of bullying just started getting popular or at their peak of popularity.

  • not all high schoolers are smart enough to consider everything and be considerate to other people. They put themselves first before anyone else which i can understand. maybe they weren't sure garam was debuting so they decided to expose her only after it was official?

  • Hybe didn't paid attention to the rumors when it started months ago, and I can't blame them for that, but they will have to deal with the consequences now that it blew up, and it blew up because now everyone knows who she is and she's about to debut, of course. She might have been a bully, but I think many people are adding and making stuff up just to make things worse for her, which is why it would have been better if they had clarified everything earlier.

maybe the victims didn't know she was under hybe and even if she was maybe they thought she wouldn't debut anyways, but most trainees keep it secret they're training under a company except for people they're very close with so it's probably that.

  • Who would care about a trainee that may never even debut.

It's only normal that they're coming out now with the allegations.

in garam's case, the blackboard writing indicates that IVE and LESSERAFIM was made known to public due to the group's name being included on the blackboard. if, for some reason, garam really wrote her upcoming group's name on the board, then that indicates that someone must have known about it and there is literally no way no one in that school know about her upcoming debut in HYBE

note that the blackboard writing allegedly was written during her middle school year. it was wayyyyyyyy before lesserafim's group name announcement, and if she's dumb enough to write her group's name on the board then there is no actual way rumor won't spread about her debut. someone, at some point, must have known it and try to stop her from debuting asap, especially if it involves 3 most anticipated girls in her group.

and if the blackboard writing was made after lesserafim's announcement, then garam wouldn't have been able to write it because she left middle school long ago. literally anyone could've write it, and there's no conclusive evidence that proves garam wrote it.

if she really did wrote it during her middle school year, then it is impossible because IVE debut was revealed around nov-dec last year. even if the rumor that said garam were ex-starship trainee were true, it is impossible because HYBE has confirmed her non-involvement with any companies prior to becoming HYBE trainee.

she is being set up on that part. otherwise why wouldn't anyone expose her if she is really going to debut with lesserafim ? if the photo was made inclusively only between her friends, then on what basis do her friend have to expose her ? is garam really that evil to even treat her friends badly ? if you tried to view this blackboard issue from various angle, there is literally no timeline consistency to indicate that she could have written it.

  • Speaking for myself as a person that's very cold and calculative lol I wait for the right perfect moment presents itself then attack. I'm guessing the victims were waiting to see if she would debut and when they saw the proof..... it was time

It only makes sense. People must be either dumb or naive to think that people won't pick the right moment for a revenge or exposé. Timing is everything. I bet the ones saying "why only now?" would do exactly the same thing if they wanted their actions be effective.

  • This is a setup.

People should falling for those bullying rumors all the time, and they should stop falling for bait posts about it.

It's getting annoying, if something is posted on Pann doesn't mean it's true.

A lot of bullying rumors and other slander end up proven to be untrue.

    of course

would you let the person that ruin your life to go away with just a slap on the wrist or would you rather her/him have the scorn of the public...me, i would go with the second one

  • It wouldn't have the same impact.
