it is really getting praised as the best performance by huge outlets such as The Washington Post, Rolling Stone, Billboard,.. (and even included in the top25 best grammy performances EVER by Rolling stone)
i think some kpop stans don't understand how basic western artists' stages are... bts pulled out only 1/5th of their Korean stages' showman skills and locals are eating it up.
i fear army might have taken over, but the qrts of this tweet was full of locals loving the stage
bro did you see how low effort some of those stages were? the bar is kinda low for western artists when it comes to spectacle.
people who don't spend their whole lives nitpicking everything about BTS probably enjoyed the dancing and creativity if nothing else. my basic midwestern parents liked it at least.

I have not watched others stage but I want to know if it’s true that they have gone viral among American locals
everything about BOTS is overexagerated
former BTS hater here, I can assure you it was a good performance. Though I can't say for sure if it's gone viral or not, I wouldn't be surprised if it did. I think most people there unfamiliar with Kpop were given a first-hand taste of just how different in dedication to performance BTS, and Kpop idols, in general, must be from western boy groups.
saw it in some news in the tube.
must be really good to get that exposure.
i don’t even stan bts but sometimes antis really have some jealousy or something over bts. lol
I don't know if it's going viral but I wouldn't be surprised if it was. I only saw the beginning of their performance but based on the other grammy performances that night, it seemed like it was more entertaining than the others.
Not sure, hard to quantify the whole going viral thing. Simply because, who gives 2 shits about some internet nerd saying this guy is hot or whatnot. All I know is they got to perform at the Grammys, no one in kpop can or will say that. They got a standing O from the A listers there and probably made more relationships that will further their artistry and music in the future. I take those facts over "going viral" any day.
Couldn't find a better version of that specific Doja Cat performance, so this one will have to substitute:

shhhh kpop fans like to push a false narrative that western artists cant dance/have no stage presence and this makes kpop artists superior to them and validates them as a kpop stan
So basic.
