jisoo wants to act & having seen her in snowdrop, she'll need a strong company behind her to get her good roles. lisa has made a name for herself outside of korea, so staying in korea & with yg wouldn't do anything for her. she can be treated as a queen in thailand.

jennie seems done with idol life, so i can see her going the influencer/business way, but i could see her release a single once in a blue moon too. rose seems the most difficult one to decide.

she has always been painted out as the "most musically", but after hearing her solo it's clear that was pretty much just a personality yg gave her. she could stay in korea since she has been getting more attention there lately or she can try to be an indie singer in the western industry, but i don't think she'll succeed there.

I can see all of them renewing lol blackpink's brand is big why would they let go of that?

their individual brands almost as big. Lisa charts better on her own and sells just as much.

Jennie is pretty much done with celeb life, she goes on to disappear for half a month without an update, doesn't do any fanservice and is usually travelling to Paris or New York to see her friends and work on fashion gigs. I see her going Jessica's route, only releasing music when she feels like it and starting her own business, enjoying a more peaceful life.

Lisa is 100% renewing unless she finds a better opportunity in Thailand which is unlikely.

Jisoo is already being given all freedom in yg, if she prefers to act she could move to their subsiadry.

Rosé likes to talk about how different she wants to be, don't see her renewing if she wants to release more solo music.

Most likely - Jennie. For both professional and private reasons. She's the most YG member of the group. However if GD leaves and establishes his own agency I could see Jennie following.

And then Jisoo. Even if Blackpink don't re sign, YG has a great actors division. These two seem most comfortable at the company.

Least likely - Rose if she's genuinely interested in making more than one song a year.

Wildcard - Lisa. No idea what she would do. If she's staying in Korea she may as well stay at YG. But if the interest she had in KPop at 14 is fading at 25, SEA would offer her almost limitless opportunities and she should grab them while she's at peak fame.

Lol at people here doing dmbass predictions about the girls leaving and telling lies about their careers. First of all, the 4 will renew, is stupid for them to leave once they already have the power to renegotiate a good contract with more power on it, if they were 2ne1, I would see them leave, but they aren't. They are the only important act in YG and the only one who brings income, their next tour will be crazy huge and yg will not let them go and lose that, they will offer the girls whatever they want.

Second of all, this whole sht of Jennie and the girls being done with idol life is stupid, just because the girls don't give in the crazy and weird "I'm your friend" that other idols do don't mean they are done with the group and kpop at all. You all just get used to having an Idol telling you that they love you because you don't have that in real life, but the girls have cut that sht with blinks so we aren't that cultish, Jisoo the least obviously but she still more private than other gg.

Third of all, the girls still need BP, Lisa and Rosé didn't do as well as their group releases, people loved Money but the song didn't even charted higher than the feels and was more organic than that, it already slimmed down to less than 1m daily streams in spotify and it is probably going to be stuck at 550m-600m by the end of the year, while HYLT will be at 750m-800m. And sales, she never crossed the 1m with YG not stocking her. Rosé songs are barely over 100m on spotify and it didn't do noise, dmn even Solo is doing good due longevity. The girls as soloist are still behind them as a group, they still need the group, they are not leaving.

They know they're the biggest gg rn. I doubt they'd disband.

Exactly I can see Lisa leaving only because she's a foreigner and rarely get to see her family and might be missing her hometown. Otherwise girls are getting good solo promo it makes no sense to leave a company which gives u good solo exposure.

the only one i think wouldn't renew in this scenario is lisa. she makes less money in sk as a foreigner, doesn't get as much promotion as other members, yg can't even be bothered to restock her solo, but she easily has the biggest fanbase and is wildly popular in sea and china. if she left yg, she would be snatched up very quickly by another company. i could envision her even attempting hollywood.

i don't think rose is actually as into music as everyone thinks she is, she wouldn't go on her own as a singer songwriter. i see her renewing but likely pushing to release music more often as a soloist.

jennie seems content with partying and having fun right now. imo she'll be happier in the fashion industry, modeling, etc. being an idol is a lot of pressure and given her past anxiety issues and health problems, if she can stay with yg while still getting as many opportunities as she has been while doing little idol work, why wouldn't she stay?

jisoo will continue acting. yg is a good place for an actress. literally the only downside to being at yg is the long hiatuses and lack of idol content between them, but as an actress she'll be taken care of. she'll renew.
