the rapline was supposed to be a complete k-hiphop unit. it was later when Bang PD decided to create a kpop group instead. as for the vocal line, they were huge kpop fans in general. taehyung was a huge SNSD fan, jin liked ggs a lot, along with jungkook being really fond of iu. They sure liked BB but they liked plenty of other groups as well. despite all of this, some of you act like bts used to worship bb lol.

they haven't mentioned bb for a long long time (think since goan 2017).
even IF they would still like their music, it's clear bb stopped being their role models very soon in their carreer.
either way, a collab isn't gonna happen.

It's a vicious cycle.
VIPs say this, which causes Armys to hate VIPs and BB more, which causes other VIPs to bring this up again, which causes other Armys to hate VIPs and BB more, which causes other VIPs to bring this up again...
It will just never end unless we all become mature enough to realize there's some common ground to be had, but a lot of people don't even want that. They prefer the drama and the ego boosting.

It's been years. Times have changed and they probably have different staff now. No use in holding onto the past.
Both groups are amazing acts. It would be a shame to deprive them of a potentially legendary moment all due to a petty grudge involving unrelated people OUTSIDE the groups, AKA associated staff and fans.

funny what you label as a petty grudge when bts got the whole industry after them for "coping bb". also, wouldn't consider bb family members "unrelated people".
in the end, IF there ever was a collab between them, it's not like we could stop it.

At the end of the day, holding onto past controversies and drama is a petty grudge, especially when the artists don’t even care about it.
“Unreleated people” as in people outside the groups.
Of course. Stans do what stans do. No fandom is innocent of this. It’s just a lot of wasted energy on something that doesn’t stay a millisecond on these artists’ minds.

Good take! I'm excited for all the potential collabs BTS could have. They're professionals who know what musical direction they want. The possibilities are endless. If their hearts are in it, why not?

BTS doesn’t need anything at this point, but they still want to make music. If they want to make music with other artists, why not? Artists make music regardless of whether they chart high or have anything to gain.
