No offense to JYPE's other groups, but fair is fair. NMIXX seem to be a lot better singers than JYPE's other groups like TWICE and ITZY, and also in dance and performance they're more on the level of an ITZY than a TWICE.
Not to forget that they're already outperforming ITZY in terms of sales: kpop fans like what they see with NMIXX, like their talent. And this is only their debut. It's impressive.

They're outperforming Itzy because over 70,000 people who wanted to say "I stanned first" pre-ordered an anonymous album.
They may be super talented but only deep divers and stans will know it unless they get some good material. Just like Itzy - great dancers, great performers, but it starts to go to waste when people are turned off by the songs. Lily will be singing to no-one in five years unless JYP does the smart thing and starts to invest i a good writing team.
