Do you feel bad for male fans in Korea?

  • Looking at the percentage of male fans/female fans for popular groups in 4th gen, most of the fans are females. There’s no longer groups like AOA, pre-Fancy Twice, Gfriend,… that caters mostly to male fans in Korea. Should companies try to debut groups that accommodate male fans too?

  • I see what you tried to do there but no, we don't need sexy/cute concepts to like kpop MUSIC. Weirdo

  • Sexy music doesn't bring in fandom so useless

  • But male fans - not all of course - don't tend to stick around once female idols age and there are younger ones on the block. Female fans are a lot more loyal, whoever they stan.

  • no, if they wanted sexy concept they should had taken care of their faves and spent more money on them

male fans are cheap as hell

on the other hand, it is healthier for fans to live on the real world rather than dreaming about an idol, good for them

  • No, male fans don’t support as much as female

They should have actually supported those sexy groups instead of just finding

    them hot

Male fans in Korea are also misogynistic and ver anti feminist ofc not all but a lot of them

So yh I don’t care abt them boo hop they can starve

But doesnt this apply to female fans too? :whatb:

  • Pretty obvious

Yeah, I think they need to.

Twice is getting old and based on their recent charting, have lost a lot of their fans looking for something fresher.

The only problem with groups like Twice is that they will always flop in the end as sexy concepts won't outlast actual talent.

  • Fanbase is determined by album sales and concerts, not digitals. Twice actually has more female fans than male, and going by album and concert ticket sales, their fanbase has increased. If you're gonna talk shit about Twice, at least get your facts right first.

  • Girls have always been the mainstay of fandoms. They spend more money, time and devotion to pop idols than boys or men.

If companies want to cater to boys more too, they should have groups that do well with army audiences.

Their male fanbase has dropped coz they got old - the reason why they have declined. Connect the dots buddy, you'll get it eventually. :pepe-use-head:
