I agree with you here.

The irony is that the same person who cry NFTs is bad for the environment will buy dozens of clothes according to season and “donate” them without thinking where all the excess clothing will go to. Or buy dozen of albums and “donate” them to charity. Or use social media and stream movies and songs non stop without thinking of its energy use and the impact to the environment. Or use food delivery service to delivers food in plastic containers without thinking it’s bad for the environment.
