According to the Daily Mail, the Academy Committee is currently discussing whether or not to rescind Will Smith's Oscar for violating the Academy Code of Ethics in relation to the case, and the current opinion is divided.
Chris Rock reports that the academy is trying to provide counseling services after the incident, and that the two are discussing the matter.
