With the announcement of the new source gg name and logo i'm seeing constant praise towards Hybe and excitement being shown towards what Hybe has come up with, barely anyone is mentioning Source Music.
So I guess when something good happens all praise can fall onto Hybe and when something bad happens suddenly it has nothing to do with them...

Because from every interview with GFriend members this years they didn't even know that MAGO would be their last comeback, nor that they would be disbanding.
Not sure why some people are so insistent that the initiative for disbandment is fully a GFriend thing, and not HYBE/Source thing.
Also OP is fully right: if HYBE can be complimented for the new gg's debut, then they can also be faulted for the bad news stuff regarding Source, like GFriend's disbandment.
Only HYBE stans would think otherwise and think that double standards is normal.

It's quite obvious. HYBE is a huge company but they don't have the resources to manage another girl group. Source Music would be capable of managing the group if they bin Gfriend and that's what happened at the end.

hybe had a say in disbandment thats for sure, but its like they didn't try. they had 2 comeback under the hybe umbrella and they didn't improve which gave hybe the reason to say disband. or not exactly hybe but the people in charge of these stuff.
