physicals and digitals can be mass bought anyways.

I wouldn't say it's the only way but I think touring sales is a good way to determine if an act's doing good or not
-
Hive-mind narrative comes into play even there though - everyone saying Blackpink had a flop tour only for them to have the most successful female kpop tour ever, then on the reverse everyone believing Twice broke 100k attendees at their tour (which did break BP's record for most profitable) when it wasn't true. People will still argue that stats have been massaged somehow, in whatever way supports their view.

It's better reflection than album sales for sure, people can mass buy but can't replicate themselves to attend a concert. In itself it doesn't mean the act is "big" in the u.s though, just them having a hardcore fanbase that will go watch them, their streaming numbers and recognition can still be abysmal. We do have many examples of this in k-pop.

Wait. Twice will have the most profitable tour though after the tour ends. Considering they are doing 3 dome concerts.
Bp did have European dates for their tour too.
How much did BP earn for their tour?

only if they can achieve certain numbers. being able to fill a 7k arena a few times is good, but that could still mean you have a smaller, yet dedicated fandom. I think you can start saying a group is big when they start selling ~35k arenas a few times bc being able to amass 35k people at once is pretty impressive.

There is no such thing as "organic"
Stop making things too complicated
If an act is truly big and not just fandom hype it shows through everything they do.
There is no best metric, each metric shows a strength, but to be the top they have to have it all.
Facts. Touring is a good metric but it should reflect throughout the other numbers.

Not really, it just show you have fans/big fandom. I like to listen to some artists songs doesn't mean I will pay to see them in concert (especially since it's expensive) many artists have casual listeners.
I’d rather have a dedicated fanbase than be a singles artists who tanks as soon as they don’t have a hit. See: many US rappers.

Twice have the most profitable tour overall (their dome tour) and Blackpink isn’t close to touching those numbers.

Scalpers buy tickets
Labels fake attendance numbers
Concert venues can be modified to lower seating compared to what the venue normally holds but still have a still "sell out" a venue
Some groups have tours lasting a month while others have years.
Money exchange needs to be accounted, having multiple non Japan concerts in Asia often brings in less than a couple dome arenas in Japan.
So no, touring is just an inorganic.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ORGANIC

the only organic is jype organic cafeteria

No. First of all, touring only accounts for the locality of where it is held. It is arguably the least accessible form of music consumption.
Second, as someone who has a some small experience in live events, promoters lie through their teeth.
For every "sell out show" the numbers are always inaccurate for many reasons - venue holds, promoter holds, restricted viewing/sight line holds, comp tickets etc.
