why jyp girl groups aren’t charting well when everybody else is?

aespa, taeyeon, yena, red velvet, ive, stayc even mid tier groups like gidle are smashing on melon. the public are loving girl groups again yet twice, itzy, nmixx recent releases fail to crack even top 10. why so?

This is going to sound harsh but my theory is the general public dropped jyp girl groups after twice encore episode. Ever since then they haven’t been respected by the public and unfortunately itzy and nmixx will suffer. Now jyp has nmixx I think they know the lack of vocals in the company has caused it and made vocals important for future groups

Jyp gg was all the rage back in 2015-2019. Missa wonder girls, twice, Itzy all had hits during this time

Now it’s sm gg turn ig.

Public has dropped Twice for a few years now, even smaller label ggs regularly outchart them. Lack of individual relevance (acting, solo etc), terrible live singing and boring music. They're basically a bg now as they only rely on fans.

Itzy music is a bit hit or miss musically, miss mostly. They're like Twice 2.0 with no individual relevance.

NMixx. Awful song which didn't leave a good first impression and that might bite them in the ass. Better to debut with a good song rather than something which will turn everyone off. But it's too early they only just debuted so they could have a hit on following years.
