What age did you guys get your own phone? (Poll)

i was 14 when i got my first cell phone, it was a pink Sanyo SCP-2400. i didnt really used it as much since my parents told me i wasnt allowed to text my friends. my phone was more for emergencies

I was 14. And it was like a burner phone literally could only make calls and that's it.

My parents are weird though I wasn't allowed to have cable tv or videogames growing up so

12 I think when I started secondary school.

My aunt bought it for me, my mother wasn't gonna get me one and I didn't need it at the time, so it was a total surprise.

Although it's not like I could do much with it was mainly for emergency calls considering it didn't do anything else. It was this one.

My first ever phone was an iphone 5, I broke it shortly after, when I was 12 I got an Iphone 10, I dropped it in the toilet, after that I got a samsung phone (14) I've stuck with it ever since.

18. My parents didn’t even have one so I had to buy one for myself and pay for the contract.

I was 11 and I begged my dad to get me one and guess what, I broke it after a month.

It was some type of blackberry w/ a texting keyboard

Around 12. Was a Sony Ericsson Walkman type ones.

This was wayyy before the touchscreens. It was a phone with a Keypad and not even colored. It was I think on the 4th-5th grade. Snake and Space Impact was my way to kill time then. 😂

I don't remember but I think I was 13

I had a keypad when I was 10 or 11 (I could only play Sudoku, not even the snake game) and also a landline to call my parents for emergencies. I never had a phone (they said I could only get one in college) but I have a laptop for my online classes which is good too.
